Benin port is easy.
Apapa tin can port is congested, always traffic.
Immigration will come to collect their share. Don't know what concerns immigration and importation. NDLEA will come for their share, customs will come, FIRS will then come, then tax. Plus paying driver that will drive the container from Port. Always worrying that the driver doesn't drink so that no mishaps. All these agencies have multiple checkpoints and you must settle all.

Do the calculations how much one have lost. When you add it all and put on the price of goods, customers will complain that the price is too much, they want cheaper ones. Hence importers will then go to get second hand or chinko. To meet consumers desired price

I think Tinubu is working on this by making just one of these agencies revenue generating. Only NDLEA and FIRS has a right to be there. NDLEA is not supposed to even handle or see any cash. It’s up to Tinubu to hire competent hands to deal with the port issue and address the congestion. A serious person will find a solution.
