This is not true.. If you are not making any money. You can always file zero during tax filing.. nobody will beat u for not making anything..U pay as you earn

You pay taxes on profit, there is not wrong in paying, it is sign of progress because you only pay beyond the nominal taxes if you make profit.

Plus as a business owner you get to write off lots of expenses that you would not have been able to do as an individual.

This is good initiative,but the most important is the functioning companies and partnership with CAC to make the process easy....

This is total nonsense, this will just end up wasting valuable RC numbers and filling the register with needless dormant companies and exhausting useful business names..total nonsense..as a seasoned business owner I will not advise anyone who is not ready to incorporate any business.

Taxes are based on revenue so what is the issue? No revenue, no tax. More revenue, more tax, but then everyone is happy.

You're saying people should not create something that can work and give them wealth just so that they shouldn't pay tax. But you will still want good roads and amenities plus subsidy.

The truth is that, as a business owner even if you did not make any profit in a year, your balance sheet cannot be zero.

You incurred expenses despite not making any profit, so you get to deduct those expenses and report negative income flow for tax purposes for that year.

The good thing about this is, you can carry these negative income flow from year to year and use them to upset your taxes or profit for the year you actually made positive income flow….it is a win win.
