Not exactly! Soludo and Mba have called for the release of Mazi Kanu....esp' Soludo, but there's only so much they can do when confronted with a Tinubu (formerly Buhari) gov't that is not interested in releasing him and thus pulling the rug from beneath the feet of the bastards using the excuse of Mazi Kanus' continued incarceration to forment insecurity in the south-east!

How did they do it... by issuing small statement? Why can't they learn to work together and do things boldly?

Mia's call was pretty much fake news.... Why not give press conference and articulate why and what regarding IPOB like Ortom has done...

These politicians are getting closer to total annihilation of themselves and their families. pretentiously they looked away from the real problems (total lack of basic amenities, poor road infrastructure, epileptic power supply, social welfare etc) plaguing the country, and rather engage in hunting lizards and birds in the neighbourhood for leisure.

No wonder they and their generations run to Yorubaland. Without Yorubaland, will this people ever have a safe haven in Nigeria? Yet, they spread hatred against Yoruba people. Its time for Yorubas to be far more conservative than they currently are.

While I understand why the governor took the decision to lock shops of those who obeyed the sit-at-home orders, the first step towards restoring order would have been to liaise with the military and the police, comb the forests and eliminate all the armed groups hiding in the forests.

So your point is that they should not protest and pay the 100k fine?
You just prove to me you are just an educated illiterate.

The governor telling them to come out every Monday did he bring our security personnel to guide them incase chaos started?

Why should government seal the shop of a private sector?
What if the owner of the shop went for vacation or travel to Lagos or China to buy goods?
Ok! the governor assume that anybody that sit at home on Monday is just obeying Simon ekpa order without having to think twice 🤔

ipob terrorist on the beat. The traders dont protest against sit a home order by terrorist Nnamdi kanu but have the terminality to protest against Governor of a state. Where were the traders when governor was holding meets with ogbete traders. Anybody that does protest the blood is on that person head.
Are the traders complaining that they are tired of sit at home?
Is it the governor constitutional rights to lock up shop of a private sector that didn't open on Monday? Since he wants to fine the shop owners he should also fine government schools that didn't open on Monday.

He should start his 100k fine from the government sector before moving down to private sector. Whereas he don't have right to tell a business man when to open his shop or close it since the person is not working under him and didn't owe him any explanation.

no mind the useless ipob traders, governor has several times warned them to desist from sit at home. Held several meetings inside ogbete market. Yet ipob induced traders didn't hear. They told him to ask soludo how far with his initial gra gra.
So if you are the one selling in ogbete or new market you will come out and open your shop every Monday without minding that UGM might hit you stray bullet 🤔
How many security personnel did the governor bring out to secure all these markets every Monday? Or you want people to play with their life?

You people should make using of your brain before spewing trash

Market and the land belongs to the govt. They said you can continue sit at home but be ready to pay fine of 100k . So why are you complaining. Govt owns the land and the affairs of the land is their business. Go and pay your 100k fine and next Monday cont. Sitting at home.
You didn't complained when ipob announced sit at home but governor that want to remove it is your problem. I can see ipob brainwashed brain here.

how many ugm abi ipob gunmen has ever entered ogbete market. The truth is that most of this ogbete traders are ipob sympathizers and members .these has nothing to do with ugm or any insecurity but because of one criminal under the custody of DSS they are doing all this nonsense. The governor ( the landlord) of the State says enough is enough. Ipob carry your evil agenda leave my state alone.

Forget his public posturing Mbah is supporting IPOB covertly.

If you seal shops and markets, is that not going to worsen the sit-at home problem?

Make we shine our eyes wella.
meolaniyi:
Mbah has just brought problem to Enugu State. What this man does not know is that this a big opportunity for hoodlums to take over Enugu State.

Why playing into the hands of this people.
Enugu that has been peaceful will never remain the same again.

Between Mba and IPOB, who the one forcing people against their will.?

Is this Governor not a stupid human being. Are those shops given freely by the government. Why forcing people to do business if they don't want want to?

it seems u are not getting the picture. A state where there is no 100 percent security. U want the people to go out n endanger their lives.
If they open their shops, esn or ipob will come n harass them.
If they stay at home for safety, governor will impose tax on them.

It's a difficult situation for them.

Oh really.

The leaders of the market can lead a protest against the governor's decision to seal any shop that obeys the terrorists order but they will sheepishly shut down the entire market on the orders of Ekpa from far away Finland.

Tinubu's government has engaged itself in human rights abuse. I wonder if he wasn't one of the people who persuaded Abiola to go and declare himself president knowing what the outcome will be.

I'm not Igbo, if one Yoruba man is murdered like this I don't think I would like my people to not do anything.
Well to the Nigerian military well done you have added more problems to your problem, now Ipob would gain more support good job.

Stupid Idiot, Is Tinubu the cause of Igbo sit at home? A stupid slowpoke you are expecting Igbo likes on Nairaland. I hate this kind of a human being.
How can a Yoruba man be killed like that when he can think better and not in the midst of daft that are not civilised and guided by their emotions?

Useless Governor Peter Mba, the Abuja induced governor of Enugu state don't know the shit he is dipping his hands into. This Useless idiot cannot learn anything from previous governors of Enugu state.

The anumpama is trying to turn the peaceful Enugu state to a very violent one just like supreme court induced governor of Imo state did. These morons are completely brainless in understanding that ignoring IPOB and focusing on business of governance is the best way to achieve success. I give kudos to Gburugburu on the peace Enugu enjoyed under his reign irrespective of his poor developmental projects in the city.

This Mba should thread carefully. Ever since he was made governor, no any tangible development. Just looting to recover the money he used to buy governorship ticket.

Instead of hitting the ground running, the idiot is more interested in burning a peaceful state like Enugu. SHAME. You want to have another Imo state scenario in Enugu? Why? Too bad. Why killing the innocent? Why? Did you provide security for them to go out on Mondays? Useless man.
Nnamdi Kanu effect.
