Nice list.7 women,3 youths,15 technocrats
Continue deceiving yourself with the word technocrats, it will do you like film that 4years will go without anything to show for this appointment. Buhari appointment is an example.

Akpabio wasted aks slot by nominating ekpo
Akpabio had promised him the Ministerial slot when he stepped down for him in the Senatorial primaries, Akpabio is one man who rewards loyalty, he raises men to limelight.

In your opinion who's best fit?

The first to step down was Ekperikpe Ekpo, Akan Udofia still have a case the Governorship Tribunal, DIG Ekpoudom did not step down, he lost at the Supreme Court &he is not agile again, he may be given a juicy FG agency to head.
Umana is an Ameachi loyalists, he is technically out of the picture, he played antiparty together with Nsima Ekere in the last elections, their political career is gradually winding down even if they defect to PDP, they're not sure if PDP will retain the state before the end of this year.

smiley na my State na, I know what's popping here. Senator Akpabio is tryna chart a new course as the Political leader of the State by bring in new faces, he started that with Effiong Akwa, Saviour Enyiekere, etc. Obong Emem Ekperikpe Ekpo is a former FHoR member from Etim Ekpo.

Those who engaged in anti-APC in the last elections never envisage Senator Godswill Akpabio as the next Senate President, some defected back to PDP, now the case at the Governorship Tribunal hinge on WAEC certificate forgery&alleged expulsion of Gov Umo Eno as a result from Uniuyo is giving PDP &Governor Pastor Umo Eno sleepless nights.

Lagos people have no problem with other Yorubas taking up their slots. At least that's what we have learnt from S.West politics so far.

On second thought, Abike Dabiri may still be considered for a ministerial slot though; she has tried for APC.
Abiru is the one for Lagos while Ambode will come to senate

Exactly what Buhari did. Putting round peg in a square hole. Nigeria right now doesn’t need politicians as ministers. We need professionalisms and expertises. People like Ngozi okonje iweala, akinwumi Adesina, Dora akunyili, are few Nigerians who are not rooted into politics but they did well and they are still doing well globally today.

Na only Buhari government appoint a lawyer and a crook politician as minister for power and housing and they expect things to change. Nigeria and Favoritism.

Advice to the ministers, you are professionals don't settle for less in exercising due diligence as expected be professional. To whom much is given much is expected. God bless our President and God bless our Ministers. Nigeria my motherland.

Re: Ministerial Nominees And Their States Of Origin by quickly: 9:06am On Jul 28, 2023
This is Part of the reason why Nigeria cannot Progress.

In other sensible countries people will be asking what is their background or work experience.

What can they contribute to the government.

You will be hearing person X was a former CEO of so so or Board of Directors of soand so company.

In Nigeria na state of origin quota be main criteria.

u will leave senate to become a minister grin

oga that list will be amended. tinubu just sent it just to beat the 60days deadline in the constitution.
Tinubu just wanted to be president. he wasnt prepared for governanace
Pls stop. ANY elective post one occupies, upon accepting an appointment, such an individual MUST vacate his elective post.

Be it minister, COS, SGF, Chairman, SA etc
