BoldBrainz You use your number to apply for the loan and that's where you receive the OTP. Then you're asked to provide two security numbers, just so the loan company can know who to reach in case you default or they're unable to reach you directly. Na the security numbers na im Nigerians dey carry Nigerian Police numbers put inside so.. It could be also happen, whereby the loan apps export/extract contact while one was busy clicking allow camera, location, contact etc |

Lisaint:Circumstances like this have actually been talked about, hence the possibility. A good number of Nigerians have resorted to abandoning the phone lines they used in taking loans only for the numbers to be recycled and sold to other users. I think the numbers were deliberately saved and named in the debtors contact details so that when he/she eventually defaults , the loan sharks will be calling the contact information on the debtors SIM to notify them of the name owing them and the need to persuade him/her to pay But unfortunately for them , it's a police emergency numbers that they are calling |
