His Excellency, Governor Charles Soludo visited Tiger Foods Limited today with his wife, The First Lady, members of his cabinet and the President of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN, Southeast Zone, Lady Dozy, etc. to commission the new Tiger Foods Paste Plant in Onitsha, today.

I commissioned the tomato paste line of Tiger Foods Limited today. This is a major expansion and addition to the Tiger food brand, an indigenous natural spice manufacturing company domiciled in Anambra.

I am happy with the thousands of jobs created by this enterprise and its immense contribution to the economy of the State. Tiger Foods is one good example that your business or company can thrive in Anambra.

Again, I repeat that it is in your best interest to invest in Anambra. And I will become your Chief Marketing Officer.

I see Tiger products on the shelves of African shops here in the UK, even in British owned Sainsbury's and Tesco's supermarket chain, world food section and it makes me proud seeing them.

My question is, why is the state IGR very small, even with the establishment of these indigeneous companies?

Anambra has a number of indegenous companies ... in Agric, oil n' gas, manufacturing e.t.c. This helps keep money home
