Britain would not waste tax payers money like Putin would Russians because Britons would be up in arms if they dared.
Even Britons were protesting against the royal family and calling the money spent on the monarchy as wastage. Na hin some of our Nairaland pundits dey expect their corrupt leaders to be treated like king on top the tax paid by Britons. They think everywhere's like Nigeria. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Russia is desperately seeking acceptance from African countries after the West rejected them following the Ukrainian invasion.
Russia doesn't love Africa more than the West. Everyone is simply looking out for himself, taking actions in their best interest

This new romance between Russia and Africa is really concerning. An average KGB agent is smarter and deadlier than all African heads of state put together. What is Putn's end game?

That's an unfair comparison. During the death of the Queen, there were guests from all over the world coming to the UK. In the picture above, Putin invited a few African leaders to a meeting in Moscow.

Besides, the UK is a country that takes strict steps to manage their resources, unlike broke African countries living an extravagant lifestyle. When Boris Johnson was the British PM, he often travelled in the economy class of British Airways, but a broke Nigerian president always flies a NAF jet anywhere he goes.

point of correction, the Nigerian president is not broke, the government is very rich.

OP: You are being mischievous. I am Pro-Russia like you but I have to admit this is a biased comparison.

The bus ride was because it's a burial ceremony with guests (Celebrities, Politicians, Royalties, etc.) from all over the world. You can't compare it with a summit organized specifically for Presidents.

The comparison is flawed.
but same guest all over the world used their own motorcades. Apart from African presidents. So don’t have a point

Hope you are not trying to mock him?

Better do a quick research on his governance in Burkina Faso. The 34 years old has brought the insurgence in the country to almost a standstill within his few months in office.

Thomas Sankara maybe reincarnated in Capt Traure.

I don't hold briefs for the British government, but they said it was for security reasons. A few African presidents (I think Kenya and Tanzania) attended the burial while all others sent their reps, including Buhari.

As for singling out African leaders, it's FALSE. Most attendees, including those from EU countries, were made to board on that bus because the British security didn't want foreign security operatives around the palace. Only the US and Qatar Emirate were allowed to drive their own cars.
don’t make a false claim. EU leaders were never in that bus. It was only African leaders.

And it wasn’t only US and Qatar emirates had their own motorcades. Many foreign leaders had their motorcades.

It likely you didn’t follow the burial broadcast

So you expect the uk to let each dignitary take their convoy. You think it's Nigeria where you block the road because VIP is passing. Have you considered how it will affect the people if they block road because every person attending the funeral wants to use motorcade? How it will affect health emergencies, people going to work e.t.c

I know African leaders don't have respect for their people so you take them like God's that you must suffer for them but in the west they try to put their people first.

And your country isn't as developed as US so you can't expect treatment luke US. If your country was powerful and not a f.ucking corruption cesspit your president will be allowed to have a motorcade
then why was it only African leaders that was allowed to use the bus?? White slave

I don't get it really, the way single western countries meets with the whole of African leaders as if we are useless

I have never seen where South African or Nigerian leader meets with EU Presidents or NATO leaders

It seems these guys abroad sees the whole of Africa as one country or we are just completely useless.

Re: How African Leaders Are Carried In Russia Vs In England (Photos) by BriggsBryan: 5:58pm On Jul 30, 2023
The image of African leaders traveling by bus during the Queen's funeral likely does not tell the whole story. London was exceptionally crowded during that time, so using buses for transport was probably a practical decision rather than a sign of disrespect. The United Kingdom has long-standing ties with many African countries and remains an important partner compared to other major powers. While constructive feedback can lead to positive growth, it's wise to avoid assumptions or sweeping generalizations, especially during emotionally charged events. With the many global challenges we face, nurturing partnerships built on shared interests and values is crucial. There are always opportunities for allies to deepen understanding and cooperation when discussions are thoughtful and respectful.

yeye sense.
Why would the head of a nation like Britain travels in economy class. Do you know what it means to stay in economy? especially fir someone who needs to be in a good condition where rever he is going.

This is a typical African man thinking, what does this have to do?... Putin understands African petty mindset so he will do anything in disguise to buy them unto him you will all learn lesson, he understands he can't will alone against the west therefore a need to recruit Africans against west.

No reason to mock him.
Only that his dressing looks funny & out of place in the pix. At least he should have followed the dress code for such occasion.

Dress code for which occasion and made by who?

He should have worn parachute called Agbada or worn a suit? Lol

The young captain wants to make a mark as revolutionary. And revolutionaries usually don’t like to dress rich .

You can hardly differentiate between his dressing and the rest of the presidential guards. In their mist, you can’t identify him.

But Russia colonised their neighbours. Did west colonize countries in eastern europe? No!!
Japan did not colonize or invade Africa but they colonize some countries in Asia. Colonial master is Colonial master. No other name.

Humans like you are very repugnant. You always want to assert yourself that you are right and know-all. Even when the fact is pointing straight in your face, you still try to twist it to suit your limited knowledge. In the real life, this will give you social problems. Goodluck to your life.
