Bro let us get the truth in perspective ehnnn and stop these lies. Free education was introduced in 1955. While the Anglo Nigerian request to support Britain was after the world war in 1945. Awolowo didn't do anything fantastic in fact free education was brought to counter the rise in enrollment figures from Eastern Nigeria(igbos). Education came to the west first but the igbos bridged the gap in 1938 with the argonauts Mbadiwe, Ojike, Etta and Co and in the 1940s the igbos were ahead in education enrollment figures. Faced with that fear Awolowo introduce free education in 1955. Please go and read the book by Prof Babatunde Fafunwa on the history of education in Nigeria so that you will see the real truth behind free education and see the enrollment numbers eastern Nigeria as compared to western Nigeria from 1940 to 1967.

Oga again stop the lies. Other regions had money and Cocoa was not the only revenue earner, in fact coal was the highest revenue earner for colonial Nigeria followed by rubber which was in high demand during the second World War. You guys should fear God with these lies you spread.

Again note Aguiyi Ironsi's unitary decree did not abolish regions in fact if you read that Unitary decree, you will see that he left the regions intact. It was Decree8 promulgated by Gowon that abolished regions and created states. Please always say the truth so that you don't invite curses to yourself and your family.
