Ganduje’s Posters Spotted At APC HQ Amid Chairmanship Rumour by Racoon(op): 7:35am On Jul 31, 2023

Posters and billboards promoting Abdullahi Ganduje, former Kano governor, for the chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have been spotted at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.

The billboards bearing Ganduje’s images beside those of President Bola Tinubu, were seen at the APC secretariat located at Blantyre Crescent, Wuse 2.

Some of them had the inscription: “Ganduje is a capable hand who can unite members of the ruling party for future challenges”. There have been speculations suggesting that Ganduje is being favoured to become APC national chairman.

Abdullahi Adamu and Iyiola Omisore, former chairman and secretary of the party, relinquished their positions following corruption allegations against them. Although some party stakeholders have expressed support for Ganduje, others have publicly voiced their opposition to his emergence.

"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has confirmed the authenticity of the video showing the Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, allegedly receiving millions of dollars as bribe.

SATURDAY PUNCH gathered that forensic analysis of the video showing Ganduje receiving bribe from a contractor indicated that the video was not digitally cloned as claimed by some of his loyalists.

Nigeria is in such a difficult situation, and our leaders have nothing to offer us other than this repeated call for unity and cohesion. The truth is, those that are tired of Nigeria do not have problems with their neighbours from other ethnic groups.

I will agree with you only if your presidential candidate who happen to be your bloda is not a thief who import/sells fake products, if he can swear if he has not be involved in corrupt practices, carry drugs in his life and only if your region is not rated the most criminal and have the most drug dealers in the Nigeria.
