There was this popular MoG from Ibadan who do early morning prayer on Ajilete FM that I adamantly forbid my wife from listening to.

I told her, 'I am not saying you shouldn't listen to him but not under my own roof.'

I didn't banned her because the man was fake. I didn't think the MoG is fake, but I find some of his modus operandi unbiblical.

Likewise, some songs like Daddy wey dey pamper is not fit my own family. While I am around, she mustn't.

I will soon delete that song from her phone sef.

I once collected her purse and gave her only transport fare when she was going for a crusade organized by one prophet olororo.

What is my drift? I have no qualm with Pastor Jerry Eze and his YouTube early morning prayer ministry but it is a disgrace and dishonour to you, the man of the house, if your woman can wake up to listen to other man before you.

It's a disgrace to my fatherhood if my kids are doing morning devotion via internet led by another man and wife and kids aren't to be blamed.

Therefore, we men, should truly man up and be the leader God made us.

The likes of Pastor Jerry Eze and co come into equation because many men are not spiritual leader. He is filling the gaps created by spiritually-absent fathers.

Your wife jumping from one prayer mountain to another is because you haven't ascertain your spiritual headship in the head.

And for those joining Pastor Jerry from their boyfriend's room, just dey play ooo, dey play ooo.

May God helps us to discharge our duties accordingly.

OP let me give you some advice... yoruba people will say... and its also biblical! "ADURA LONGBA AGBARA KO" I'm not trying to tell you how to control your home.. but if your wife is taking her time to pray for the family... I think she's doing a good job... about pastor been fake... nobody truly knows the secret everone is keeping... but the only thing you should try and help her understand is that... don't worship Pastor! Rather worship God!... and if you guys hav faith... whatever you guys are prayer for will be answer in jesus name...

If half of the people that tune in to Jerry Eze were decent Christians Nigeria will be a much brtter place.

These people wake up early to do devotion and march out to steal, dupe, lie, collect bribes, fornicate, commit adultery and other terrible things.

The rate of religious fanaticism in Nigeria is so deep you'd think the country should be heaven by now.

There is nothing you can do to help an intellectually deficient mob of pretenders from self destructing.

When you try to correct them and help them to open their eyes, they will scream blasphemy.

Rather than banning this and banning that all the time, create replacements and ensure it's as spiritually charged as the ones your wife gets from outside.

If she attends the replacement and still has time for online prayers, just let her be. It's not a good thing to create gaps in your marriage thinking you're making your wife spiritual.

If your wife gets drawn to spiritual things, draw a plan that'll make the two of you practice as many spiritual exercises as possible (prayers, viguls, fasting, preaching, giving, counselling etc). That's far better than banning this and that.

As for the ororo, it's better you lead your wife as a pastor and teach her that faith should be in God rather than objects.

Build her up and not break her down with strictly authoritarian tendency that'll make her see you as an enemy. You don't know how much blessés you are that your wife gets drawn to prayers...
