Obaaderemi2:Oga, The SE is the only region that has truly reduced poverty since 1970. The SW has always been no1 but it makes no effort to improve. So there is no need defending the over 50% poverty rate which is higher than the SE. Now multidimensional poverty is not as big as you think. Multidimensional poverty is a holistic way of viewing the various deprivations people in poverty face Extreme poverty on the other hand is the main issue. Extreme poverty is the most severe type of poverty, defined by the United Nations (UN) as "a condition characterized by severe deprivation of basic human needs, including food, safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, health, shelter, education and information. Hope this helps you. Let me teach you multidimensional poverty with an example. Imagine that I have money to eat and pay my house rent but I don't have money to pay for internet then I can be classified under multidimensional poverty but not extreme poverty. |

tctrills:You have been engaging me since yesterday, I thought you would have learnt a thing or two. ![]() Stop arguing blindly, multidimensional poverty is the latest derived international measure of poverty. Let me show you the meaning of :multidimensional poverty.: What is the Multidimensional Poverty Measure? • AnWith this your mindset, you would make a bad leader for your people. The East has never caught up to the West in anything positive despite having your most productive mass of people living among yorubas. Don't let what you read here from your brothers about yorubas deceive you. The yorubas have a solid foundation dating back centuries before Awolowo. Awolowo was just a product of that foundation. That's not saying we don't have our bad eggs. |
