There's something sickening about the west and its their appetite for destruction.
Let's imagine the west intervening in Niger,
how much will it cost them in logistics, hardware and lives and how many months will it last?

Let's say it cost them at least $100millon and the operation lasted for 5months, Now ask yourself why can't the west invest the $100million in Niger for Its development instead of using $100m to destroy the country.

They don't care about the development of the country they are only after the destruction.

Lets look at libya for example According to CNN it cost the Pentagon $1.1billion for it operations in Libya from April to September of 2011 just 6months, how much has these bloody bas*ards invested in Libya before they destroyed it? NOTHING!

These bloody bas*ards turned Libya to a shadow of itself they now survive on foreign aids, why can't they give Libya $1billion every 5monts just to match the amount they spent to destroy it Nope they sprinkle small small money on Libya yearly with abeg. Now they want to do the same thing to Niger, i just hope ECOWAS won't be so stupd for this trap

⚡️Rebel authorities in 🇳🇪 Niger have appointed new regional heads of state. All of the appointed individuals are from the military.

The authorities of Niger have opened their borders with 🇩🇿 Algeria, Burkina Faso, 🇱🇾 Libya, 🇲🇱 Mali, and 🇹🇩 Chad. This information was reported by AFP, citing one of the representatives of the Republic's authorities.

🇮🇹 Italy's foreign minister ruled out any Western military intervention in Niger, stating that such action would be perceived as a "new colonization."

POC

They're not rebels

They're are the military arm of government.

Good that Italy is stating the truth.

Do you understand the context unto which my comment was written?

A coup plotter can only survive external intervention if majority of the populace support him.

Did you see anyone or saw any new outlet that said citizens were crying, wailing or throwing stones?

Everything you read here shouldn't be antagonized for the sake of it.

Majority of the citizens of Mali, Burkina Faso and even Niger want the military back, outsiders should not dictate for them the kind of leadership style they want, that's tantamount to colonization.

Why should any external body, union or country decide for a country what system of government they should uphold?

Is it because these countries are African or 'poor'?

Why are they not dictating to OMAN, Kuwait, UK, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia etc?

External intervention?
And what force will fight the battle? The populace with stones and bricks?
It’s still the military that will defend herself, unless civilians will be given arms to defend the country.

In a coup it’s practically impossible to uncoup a coup unless the plotters give up the chase themselves!

Ps: my reply to you was your claim that “a coup can only survive with the people’s backing” and I disagreed.
Everything else ( sentiments) you wrote after is none of my intrest

The top 10 poorest countries in the world are all African countries with Niger being the 8th poorest country in the world.

The US claim to be sending millions or billions of dollars to Niger, but they're still poor, so where does all the money and aids go to? Ofcourse the few corrupt politicians in the country are the ones embezzling everything, Now the people are tired and wants a change, but the US is still supporting the corrupt president and wants him back in office. Any reasonable person here would know something is off.

In my own opinion, I've learnt from history how brutal a military government could be but at this very point in time, with all the happening in the world, if I were a Nigerien, I would support the coup because it's clear as the day that they US and France are completely supporting corruption as long as it benefits their selfish interest.

It's very obvious right now that the France has been directly looting Niger resources. If this is not slavery, then I don't know what it is.

⚡️Richard Moore, head of the 🇬🇧 British foreign intelligence service MI6, gave an interview to Politico.

He said that there were disputes and quarrels among 🇮🇷 Iranian leaders over the supply of drones to Russia.

Moore positively assessed the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, noting that over the past month, Kiev has regained more territory than the 🇷🇺 Russians captured in a year. He attributed the slow advance to the cautiousness of Ukrainian troops.

Moore acknowledged that Western countries do not want to "humiliate" Putin, but are confident that he must withdraw from 🇺🇦 Ukraine.

⚡🇨🇳 China has restricted the exports of gallium and germanium, potentially causing the world market to lose up to 56 tonnes of these metals. These metals are crucial in the production of high-tech products, with gallium being a key material in semiconductors, and germanium being used in the creation of solar panels, wireless communication devices, and optical systems.

From January to June, China supplied 67 tonnes of rare metals, with the main buyers being 🇩🇪 Germany (11.4 tonnes), 🇯🇵 Japan (11.1 tonnes), and the 🇳🇱 Netherlands (7.9 tonnes), according to calculations based on data from Chinese customs by RIA Novosti.

another wrong move from Nigeria, international businesses are done based on trust, this move will make them loose trust from doing business with us they're also sending message to the African community that are supposed to patronise Dangote refinery and other Nigerian businesses.

Again Niger Republic has uranium they can easily liase with countries like Russia to erect nuclear power plant for them ,so that they can abandon our power

I used to think the same way. Then I realized the truth. The $100 million doesn't exist in the first place. The US fights and funds wars because it can make money that way. It can give countries or rebels weapons and then take products and natural resources from them. It also gets their assurances that they'll use the US dollar for trade and of course, they'll keep some of their reserves in US banks. That there is the real value since the people in those countries will work to get those dollars.

Now, imagine if the US spent $100 million on healthcare. Now, the US needs to manufacture real healthcare goods valued at $100 million or buy from somewhere. Which country will sell them $100 million worth of healthcare equipment only to collect money they printed? Money with no value? In no time, there will be lots of dollars chasing few goods since the US literally prints money. The US can print money to buy stuff. But it can't print health goods and services.

This is the problem China is facing today. It has so much US dollars it cannot do anything with them. If it floods them into the market, inflation will happen and the dollar will lose value. So China invests it back into US treasuries and the US pays them interest (smaller amounts) on the investment. But China simply takes those interests back into buying US treasuries, and the cycle continues.

Politicians cannot steal aid money because the money does not exist. Politicians steal money from the things they produce/extract in their countries. But aid money? Nah. When the US says it's giving us aid, it never actually gives us money. Instead, it buys things from other countries or export from its own and then gives it to us. Imagine you buy something from someone and then someone else promises to pay the seller because you don't have money for it. That is how it aid works. The problem however, is that most of the aid are for things Africa doesn't need in the first place.
