I heard they make profit through the companies that pay for adverts and sponser some programs and maybe this voting.

I don't think anyone will do 7 seasons of a show if they are breaking even or making a loss
South Africa's big brother was stopped for years because of lack of sponsors, I hear and they had to do a joint program with Nigeria to have a big brother held in their country but really I have no idea of how they make profit.
