Just a few months ago they shouted all over Nigeria and won more votes than any other aspirant. The one you campaigned for finished 3rd
Peter Obi - a victim of electoral criminality was in court to prove he came first. He brought results sheets as evidence. He and others also proved the one you supported was the criminal that wants to truncate democracy in Nigeria. Snatch it, grab it and run away with it.

Many days for the thief...

What hard core conservatism are northerners pushing in Lagos??
I believe you are Yoruba, abeg help me ask Gbola oh. Sometimes, I will just see most of his misinformation/miseducation about Northerners and pass.

This is the same person that said most Northerners embrace Bokoharam fundamentals and hence BH can't be defeated.

He forgot that during the early days of BH, ( Yobe, Borno) they were lot of debate between Islamic scholars and the Yusuf guy ( extremist). They told him no, you are interpreting the Quran wrongly and how those scholars were killed by the sect.

Local religious leaders who criticize Yusuf extreme Qur'anic interpretation were killed.

Their members were living among them in the city in the early days. During the army raid, this same Northerners were the ones going from door to door with the army fishing out the BH members to the army guys.

The army killed all of them including the Yusuf guy after they have interrogated him, but the army in their usual pattern killed some innocent people too and they even admitted it.

Few years later Shekau, the second in command came. This same Northerners chase them away from their midst, those guys went to the villages, bushes. They started having members from Neighbouring countries like Chad and the rest. They started having support from international terrorist groups too like Al- Queda and the rest.Their pattern of attacked changed. Bombing public places, churches, government buildings, mosques, etc .

Thank God today, Boko Haram is almost gone. What we are facing here are those bandits and kidnappers. We pray they they will be defeated too.

Lmao.. Nigeria do this one.

The amount of companies this will affect
The Nigerian franchise cannot afford to be in partnership. That's why.

It is not like we would not be seeing Panadol again. They will just outsource it to other companies to do.

Lucozade and Ribenna has been outsourced to Suntory. So dem go just find other companies and give them the portfolio to produce.

I have noticed that is the new move for most multinationals now.

Do northerners want sharia or not?
Simple question.
How many states up north now have hisbah?

What is the ultimate end game of boko haram vs entrenching sharia?

Northerners are not arch conservative, but yet they all celebrated the murder of an infidel who allegedly insulted Muhammed.

I am sure you are not a conservative - so I am waiting for your belated condemnation.

Even so called liberals like Atiku unlooked

In the end since Islam is the light and true religion, everything is acceptable as long as it is meted out to unbelievers . Who am I but a lesser muslim anyway.

Let us continue with the double standards
How dare unbelievers insult Muhammed, but as Muslims we are allowed to insult Jesus by telling everyone he is a prophet and not a diety.

Imagine if other religious adherents had short fuses.

As a kid when I told my SU neighbors Jesus is not God but a prophet, they laughed at me. And that was where it ended. But we have your kinsmen burning someone alive, and then announcing it and then lawyers falling over themselves to defend the thugs in court

I chose not to answer abduleez1 because too much of this stuff hits too close to home.

When you have some northern friends whose first question to your daughter when she visits is why are you not in hijab?

The moment you have a culture that actively persecutes unbelievers or Muslims that do not subscribe to fundamentalism, you will always have boko haram around you in one form or another. But It will not be a problem for you until it gets out of hand and starts targeting Muslims.

Especially as the Lebanese seem to be able to make money within our environment. Somehow molfix diapers are far cheaper to produce than pampers.

I think another issue which I had stated before is that your oyibo multinationals pay living wages allow workers to unionize and try to replicate working conditions in their home countries. Which drives up production costs. But your local outsourcee no dey do that and is therefore profitable in Nigeria

What are the fundamentals of Bokoharam and why were those Islamic scholars killed?

Same you said the North is uninhabitable!

You will sit in the comfort of your home in Lagos and be saying things you know nothing about.

If you like answer him, if you like don't answer na you sabi. Afterall you have nothing to say even.

North is one region that her people will always go against any uprising!

They are outsourcing distribution. Not production (this is what is leaving Nigeria)
They had split the company into 2 last year and my hope was that Haleon would not be affected by the GSK Nigeria exit.. But it affects them too.

They are outsourcing production, oga

From Knorr cubes to Blue band, new companies are producing them for the parent companies.

Like GloriousGbola said, the foreign owners would want them to replicate the same standard in their home countries, and it would drive up costs.

Unilever posted a loss in their first quarter. The next thing you'll see is that they will outsource Close up and other brands to Lebanese and Indians to reduce costs and make profits.

No be today GSK begin get wahala. The Nigerian franchise cannot meet the foreign demands.

Lebanese and indians unfortunately provide suboptimal working conditions and wages.

I did not NYSC in tower aluminum. Tower aluminium makes mad money as na cooking pots and aluminum roofing sheets

But when you have an oga saying he has 100k saved and he will no longer take this nonsense, you know it is not a place for a career.

They will be profitable but they may not be places you want to work

Though the other issue is what I was telling BlueRayDick. India is one of the most corrupt nations in the world, but unlike us, they have sense and will not bankrupt their employers or sell out their nation. We can remember 2007/8 when Cadburys naija ceo was busted for cooking the books.

So you are saying their factories in Nigeria will still be used and they are basically getting local contractors to do the bulk work.

Because the news is practically saying they are pulling out and switching to using 3rd party distribution.
It doesn't mention anything about them seeding production to another company in Nigeria.

So unless it means a different thing entirely. Educate me biko
