Take note and learn. Russia while wrong to wage war against Ukraine have a better justification on the ground Ukraine was aligning with Russia's International adversary to the extent of giving them military platforms. Ukraine disregarded the Oslo pact in making attempts to join NATO.
Niger on the other hand have not broken any International laws or pact, either with Nigeria or Ecowas.
Again, Niger is not the first Ecowas country to have a coup. As a matter of fact, the threat of military conflict has led to Ecowas becoming sharply divided along the anti-coupists led by Nigeria and pro-coupists led by Niger.
Lastly, the sahelian belt on the African continent is ruled by coupists so, Niger is not isolated as you think.

Nigeria will not fight a war. Nigeria will sack the coupists and restore the legitimate power. By that, we don't need to face the ISIL group which the legitimate Nigerien govt has kept abay. Mali is receiving serious beating in the hands of the ISIL group so Mali is not a problem. Niger is too close to us to be having coup plotters in power. The coup Leader will experience same reversal of gains Mali is witnessing today.

Who will depend the Govt. tht will be placed in Niger? Nigerian soldiers? So, Nigeria will start spending $300m a year to support a regime in another country?

Use your brain African leaders don’t be pushed to make life more difficult for your people. Use Dialogue don’t use war, war will only cause more problems.
