The APC's National Executive Committee (NEC) has decided on a zoning arrangement to fill vacant positions in the National Working Committee (NWC) following the appointment of Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman and Ajibola Basiru as National Secretary. Six positions in the NWC are currently vacant due to various reasons. The new National Chairman coming from the North West has led to a rearrangement of the zoning pattern, affecting positions like National Chairman and National Legal Adviser. The NEC also aimed to appease the North Central region by zoning the National Legal Adviser position to it. Additionally, some positions like National Secretary, National Welfare Secretary, and National Women Leader were retained in their respective zones.
