I swear na serious work to actually watch them. I was just doing light curation for fun in the morning thinking it won't take 15mins, before I knew it I was deep 2hr30mins curating and formulating competitive arguments simultaneously.
This is not the only list sef, I still got nominees and many I haven't grouped yet. Will to curate came when two days ago I struggled to chose what to download for 30mins in the night... I had limited data and had to choose what stays and goes.
I just did the curation to make my downloads simpler and more thoughtful.


Bruv MIUI and it's technicalities is a pain in the arse at times bro. They have great all round devices but optimization na serious issue. So tey some people are scared of android updates. 😭😭
It's a while ago I noticed and I just swapped to using other rather generic note apps (Word Counter).
I'm also thinking of leaving MIUI but that Poco F5 is really tempting me. Mad performance.

I'm looking at Google Pixel but the issue is they don't have raw performance or specs rich at Xiaomi level affordable price range. And there's the issue of Google tightening security and restrictions with recent updates and the support for some third party APKs.
I've thought of other brands too with more pure android feel like Oppo. But most of their compelling devices are usually powered by Mediatek chips.

The Shape of Water......7.5/10

Nice movie, good cinematography and score.
Good acting performance from Sally Hawkins as Elisa Esposito in her forbidden love story with enslaved Amphibian Man played by Doug Jones. Michael Shannon did great as the titular antagonist of the movie.

Not gonna lie, I'm struggling to see what Octavia Spencer acted here that warranted a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Unless, the competition for that year was atrociously weak, that's how this makes sense.

Overall, it's a good movie but I don't see how this won Best Picture that year.

lol curating is helps, i use to do it before. I recently found a jotter i use to itemized all the shows and movies i needed to cop, and as soon as it hits 12am, na me and MTN Pulse night plan 😩😂. I go dey hold biro and Jotter for mid night like say na pool i wan stake 😂😂.


I am still tolerating MIUI becuz is the most customizable Android skin i have used, but seems they made thier best set of devices 3 to 4 years ago. The Note 9 to 10 series were the OG. I have been considering moving over to the Pixel but the new Google Tensor chip does not move me, so i might have to settle for thr Pixel 5 or 5a.

Octavia Spencer won based on "black tax" cuz her role was so basic. The best picture win was unreal fooling, the only deserving award would have been Sally Hawkins for best actress but oscar baby Frances McDormand was on queue that year.

Sally Hawkins bathtub scene at the beginning with the "Elisa's Theme" score playing was my favorite scene for obvious reasons 👀👀😂
