President Bola Tinubu has filed a motion seeking to PREVENT a federal court in the United States from releasing his university academic records to Atiku Abubakar, his principal opponent during Nigeria’s February 2023 presidential election.

Documents obtained by Peoples Gazette showed Mr Abubakar, on August 2, approached the States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to issue a subpoena for Chicago State University to release Mr Tinubu’s school records, citing longstanding controversies around the Nigerian president’s background. Journalist David Hundeyin obtained records that showed a Bola Tinubu that attended Chicago State University in the 1970s was a female.

The CSU registrar’s office had told Peoples Gazette that it graduated a Bola Tinubu on June 22, 1979, but did not elaborate when pressed on whether the student was a male or female, much less if it is the same person now occupying Nigeria’s presidency.

There is a law that protects the privacy of Tinubu, if he uses a legal means to protect his privacy, that is not corruption

Go to amountain and shout "I be mumu" 21 times maybe God of SOlomon can hear you and send some brain to you even if it's that of a salmon.

There's no legal means to protect your privacy as a public officer.. what you can protect is the information at your disposal which must not be made known to public to protect the interest of the nation and for national security. Certificate isn't one of those..

If you can be asked to publish your asset (up to the number of pants you own), imagine if your result will not be scrutinised too..

A Zoo is a Zoo.. Nigeria is a lawless zoo and a lot of people are above the law

Atiku means business. The guy know say this is the last and only chance he has. His paddy man Dokpesi no dey again which means no more future campaign strategist.

In all, it will difficult to remove Tinubu now that he's standing with the world against coup juntas in Niger Republic. The US would be convinced he's a changed man and later throw their full weight behind him. As for Atiku, sorry na him name.

Op, do you mean to say "corruption is fighting back corruption"?
Is Atiku corruption-free?

The mistake I think Amoda made was forgetting to do all the necessary paperwork (Legal change of name) at the time to legitimize the new name BAT which he would eventually take on.

He must be regretting this very silly mistake and the people digging further to unravel this have the information at hand.

The late Yemi Odumakin did a bit of an exposè on the mystery man (BAT) before he passed on.

This is one problem with lying. You'd need to constantly remain a step ahead in your thoughts, and actions, and always have sleepless nights because it is no small job to continually think up new lies to cover up the previous ones without any mistakes.

I don't envy BAT one bit.

Alas! Yemi Odumakin is late, he died 2 years ago.
The man knew a lot about BAT that the public don't know.
May his soul rest in peace.

But Releasing ones' academic records should be a thing of joy. Especially one who claimed to have graduated top of his class
