Good afternoon Nairalanders. Challenges in my life right now is making me Lose faith in God ( that's if he even exist) I've served since 2017. Ever since I've been jobless. Can't even afford basic feeding or necessities. 32 years , no wife, job , business, nothing. Still depending on my aged mum's pension. I remember when i was afire for "God" . Spoke in tongues, did evangelism, a prayer warrior, always bible reading. But what did I get in reward, shame and disappointment. Honestly I'm tired and can't continue living like this. I think I'm better off dead. Let me go and protest to God himself.

We don hear. Keep it up.

Na una "Daddies in the lord" I blame. They deceive you into believing that financial prosperity is the purpose of Christianity. For your information, Christianity is all about salvation. Salvation is about qualifying to inherit the kingdom of God after departing from this world.

As for financial success, it is the survival of the fitest. This is why you have poor pastors and rich babalawos.

if lose faith in God who else will help you if not him? everybody has their own time

moreover, you must still remain grateful for what he has done for you in the past.

God will make himself known to you soon. Never give up on him. Remember the story of Job? What could be worse than that? Dust yourself up and keep moving and improving yourself. Your breakthrough is near.

There was a time all you wanted was admission He made it possible, there was a time all you wanted was to graduate and serve he made it possible. Will He now fail to give you all this things that you want to lose faith in Him for when the time is right? God doesn't throw people up he grows them up. However it is important what we do while we wait for God to perfect all that concerns us. Tears don't move Him only His words backed by you action and obedience to His principles. A While Elijah wanted God to take his life but God wouldn't, even where he had slept in anticipation of death an angel came to wake him to eat for the journey is far. You are experiencing 'The Ministry of His Absence'. Its all Him, He wants to know what you will do if everything in your life doesn't look like His promise to you. Remember Job, Hannah, Abraham and Sarah. He is faithful even when we don't seem to see the things we are hoping for materialize.
God is Still God Regardless.

Until u decide to leave ur parents early enough in another 10 years time,u will still be hear telling us how u are serving God.

Does it mean that serving God is a criteria to get a job.
Don't make it look like u are mocking God. See guy,if u like be on fire or speak in the language of the Jews while in Nigeria,if u don't take actions,u are on your own.

Heaven help those who help themselves.

During my days,I left my parents and moved to the core north with just my certificate and today, the story has changed.

Almost everyone in my family pitied me and felt for me which I never felt same for myself,I struggled it out.

Decide today and enjoy tomorrow.

What is your kingdom investment like? Do you still reach out to people with the love of Christ? Make that your priority and pray for them. Invite them to church to come and hear the word of God. Ask the Lord to lead you to places where you will drop your CV. Please drop your CV. Keep your passion for the kingdom alive. You will definitely get job offers because when you take care of the Lord's business, he will take care of yours.
What's really funny or should i say not funny is I actually considered opening my own ministry but abandoned it cos i felt I was called for something greater. Silly me. Cos I knew when Pastor Iren started. maybe i would have been swimming in billions now. Yes I still did evangelism. Latest was March this year. But I've sincerely lost focus honestly. Fasting now is easier but not honest cos I hardly see food to eat sef.

Please make sure you don't open a ministry except you are sure and convinced God has called you. Even when he has, you have to go through thorough preparation unless you will be frustrated. You must have mentors.

It is also necessary to point out that you don't open a ministry to rip people off their money. You are helping people to achieve purpose and fulfill destiny. Ministry is like a volunteer work. You choose to serve God with a right heart and you know he rewards.

What did you study in school? What is your talent? What do you derive pleasure in doing in secular world? Please you need to develop yourself. Look for a job that you can gain experience from. Learn and grow.

The bible says whatever he lays his hands to do shall prosper. Please start doing something with your time. Get your mind busy with active work. You can volunteer to help someone sell bend down clothes or anything good. God does not meet and help idle people. Send me an email. I want to mentor you.
Bro what's the point of all the strive if it doesn't make any headway financially. I mean look at pastor Jerry of NSPPD. Will you say he was closer to God than me? I knew him when he started his ministration in Abia state. Was a very small gathering which I was part of but look at him now, he literally flies private jet to anywhere he wants to in the world. He is a millionaire in Dollars now.

My point is I don't want to be as rich as him but let me just be able to put food on my table without being afraid of where my next meal will come from or threats from Landlord. Having money will surely make serving God easier cos you will be focused and not distracted by pursing vanities or being dishonest to get gain etc. I don hustle for this life but tbh I discovered is not by mere working hard but smart work with a sprinkle of grace.

I studied public administration ( 2:2 ) and I know how to write. Also sing too as a past time. I have some gospel and secular songs released. I really appreciate your post. Please send me your email address so i could message you. Can't access the mail of this my NL account. God bless !

My dear, it seems you have given up on God. I can feel your language and also from your name gameover. I went through some of your previous post and I discovered you are based in Ebonyi State, Abakaliki. You relocated from Lagos to Abakaliki because things didn't just work out. How can you go back to Ebonyi? What kind of job can you get there?

You cannot give up on yourself no matter how hard you have hustled and failed. Remember the parable of the talents, what talent do you have? If you don't do anything, even your siblings may step up and start pushing you around. Please shake up yourself and get moving again. It is very challenging for those that are working too. But we keep pushing, fighting. Sometimes we give up. Sometimes I feel like quitting my job but I can't watch myself go backwards. I have witnessed significant changes in my life by the grace of God. The bible says he that endures to the end shall be saved.

I was born in the east, after my youth service, I stayed in Lagos but things were not working out for me. I relocated to Abuja. Things started taking shape after I picked up a job though my monthly salary was about N33,000 so many years ago. I got married on that same monthly salary. It was quite rough but I didn't give up. My level has changed so many times. God has helped me and to his glory, I pay school fees for my children and I have built a house. I don't beg to eat anymore.

Please shake up yourself. Go back to God and let him direct you again. Take steps, do something worthwhile everyday.

Bro i was under tense desperation when i created those past thread which i still am. I went to Lagos in 2018 from Abakaliki to "hustle" no type of hustle I didn't do. Sold bread , okrika, name it. But the city became very expensive for me to live. Was hardly making any profit. I also got a marketing job for an insurance company called African alliance in Ikeja after submitting countless CV's. I was basically like a mad man due to intense trekking and stress from the job with very little or no referrals. I almost broke down mentally till I made the firm decision that enough is enough. Couldn't even afford the joint rent I was sharing with a friend in Mainland coupled with transportation and feeding etc. Like the prodigal son I had to move back to Ebonyi state to save my life and health. If i get a better job in Lagos or anywhere else with accomodations even if it's single room, i swear to God I'll relocate asap . Recalling all this things always tear me up but In all things God be praised .
