Weissman being a Deep state, was the chief inquisitor in Mueller hoax , had 80000plus Enron workers lose their jobs in a ruling unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court and a whole lot of misdeeds.

As for the judicial composition of the judges in DoJ, judges appointed by the Democrat presidents are overwhelmingly in the majority.

So, theoretically, I think constitutional amendments should need much more than 50% of the vote to pass to ensure minority rights.
That being said, I'm happy this failed as the manner Republicans pushed this was dishonest. Republicans have been pushing all these things through a minority represented Supreme Court and gerrymandered minority Legislatures. I'm glad the state gave them a big FU. I'm also glad it passed with close to 60% of the vote. I would have voted the same. Time for them to reap what they have sewn.

Republicans have realized they can't win elections without cheating. Why else would you spend the money to hold this vote in Aug when people are on vacation and doing summer things, when you could have this vote during elections in Nov. If you think your proposal can't win at a time and place where everyone can vote, you shouldn't be proposing it.
