Don’t be surprised he bought the job in million for his daughter and of course he can’t spend such millions for his nephew and his biological daughter stranded. A-list agencies are for sale in Nigeria. Get your millions with good connect and you are done.

The daughter could have gotten the job through someone else and people just assume it’s her father. I’m a victim of such case. I have an uncle who has not been able to secure a solid job since he finished NYSC in 2013(that was even before I entered university). My parents have been trying to help him with a government job but they’ve not been successful. On the other hand, two of my older siblings and I have gotten jobs in less than one year after finishing NYSC. My older ones got through a family friend who specifically requested for their CVs and I got mine through my friend’s father. My unemployed uncle now thinks my parents don’t want to help him, even though my mum always carries him along and explains everything to him. The last straw for him was when I got my own job last year, He stopped coming to our house for about five months. Meanwhile, I’m here hustling for something better. I wonder what he’d do when he hears I have gotten an even better job lol.
So in summary, his uncle’s daughter could have hustled for that job by herself or gotten through her mum but now the dad’s nephew thinks they don’t want to help him.

There is a lady here on nairaland that said she kept going to their Lagos office every week last year until the security guys pitied her and let her in. She submitted Her CV in the HR office and luckily she was invited for interview. I think She deactivated her account here when she finally got the job, she would have been more helpful with information on how to go about it. But if you stay in Lagos or Abuja, try your luck and go to their office

The uncle even gave him the job, his problem is why did the uncle gave him J-list list agency and gave his biological daughter A-list agency as if the uncle owe him anything. Sense of entitlement. instead of taking the little he got and be grateful to God while you lobby for something higher. A lot’s of people here are looking for just federal government job even if it’s Z-list agency like PCC.

He even said challenges emerged at a point. Who knows maybe he tried leaving above his means. You must start from somewhere when it comes to federal government job sometimes salaries don’t matte. Instead of being patient and thankful. Come to think of it, are others not working and surviving in that same office?

There will be a time at my old age when my chuildren will look after me. You won’t see those nephews anymore..

O sorry two guys posted their stories earlier, I just noticed the guy u quoted was the one whose uncle at least got him something with a low pay. My reference earlier was wrt to the guy who said he waited 8yrs and he was still promising him only for his own daughter to graduate and he fixed her immediately.

His wife is a provision seller somewhere in Benin and the kids most times need help financially.

In life, whenever we have opportunities, let's not retract it, rather, lets give it to the available, even if the available is your relative, friend or even a stranger. The person you help today may be of help to you tomorrow, either directly or indirectly. In all, let humanity speak to all.

I just imagined if my elder bro was assisted by this man then, he will never forget the family. People have helped us in this life and I know the extent to which we can go for them when they need us, not financially but in other ways.

Conclusively, may God help us all and grant us our divine helpers who will help us without thinking twice about it. I am still a job seeker, graduate of English (2.1), if you can assist, God will never stop listening to your plea.

Lols, exactly what a relative of mine told my dad some years ago, I think in 2012, when my dad took my elder brother to his house to seek for help in entering Police Academy. That my relative told him blatantly that if my brother enters now, he will rise in rank and be higher than him. Imagine! That relative never helped my brother and that's how he lost entry into the academy. Today, that my relative is dead, his first child just wrote his Jss3 exam.
