We saw Application Slip, Payment Slip, and Appointment Slip. So is there a place or something where Acknowledgment Slip is saved or can be printed?
Does it mean that it is one of those mentioned slips above?

Yes I did online. I had already taken two days leave from work because of it. Today would have been a waste if I'm not able to make any tangible progress. So I decided to come again instead of letting the day waste. By the time I got to the front office around 10am, my file was ready for the next stage. Meaning they've even worked on it since that yesterday that I submitted. I'm sure yours too will be ready today. So if you can go early tomorrow and get to the verification stage by afternoon, you may be able to capture tomorrow. Please note that this is my personal experience. You can also decide to wait till Friday

If you have the money and will need the passport asap then go through an officer, the only down side is that there's no guarantee you will get it in time, but is better than the DIY because they won't pay much attention to you. If you are not in a hurry and won't make use of it till a year time then go for DIY, But if urgent the I will suggest attempting fast track

Finally collected my passport yesterday at Abeokuta. I captured 4th April. I think it has been ready since July ending.

I disagree with you. No do-it-yourself (DIY) Nigerian passport applicant's passport will remain in production for years unless there's disparity between the data in the application form and NIN, or there's data upload error during production. Sadly, the Nigeria Immigration Service does not deem it necessary to contact the affected applicant(s) for briefing and/or proffer a solution.

I'm not wrong maybe you misunderstood it or I gave half information. I did it through DIY too but when I got to their office I looked for one officer who I pay 5k for easy capturing which he went inside for verification and I was called for capturing within 5minutes.

I'm at the final stage on the tracking status. Meaning waiting for collecting it
