Mr Phillip shuibu should rest, what is all this, may be he wants someone to educate him. You don't flex muscle with your boss and end well, all the deputy governors that did it in Nigeria did not end well. No body is stopping him from showing interest to contest because that is his constitutional rights but there are ways you go about it. Hmm now I know the reasons why sitting governors don't like supporting their deputies to become governor when their tenor elapsed. Most deputies are rebels.

Edo Governorship is the turn of Esan simple. Nigerians like complicating things. APC, PDP amd LP should hunt for credible candidates from Edo Central.

They were not the right choice. He swapped from APC to PDP, bought form for N2b amongst other unnecessary spendings ALL just to spite APC. He has fallen out with all who did it and sacked the remaining ones. The Oba of Benin had to call them to his Palace to make peace. The Deputy they did all together now, is his perceived enemy.

Personally, I think this hatred for Igbos is not necessary and it is affecting the rest of the country. I feel that’s why we have a President that is not competent enough. Most people voted for him out of tribal sentiments rather than competence.

Was Obaseki himself not desperate as well to take over from Oshiomole? Is easy to say because you are the one in power, if obaseki shows interest to him to succeed him, won't Shaibu know when he is not a kid? Obaseki body language must have been sending signal to his deputy even without talking. If the two of you don't put your house in order now and APC or another party enters, the two of you maybe exposed and spend your long vacation with EFCC/DSS answering queries that will bring karma to pay you back your betrayal of Oshiomole.
