Your own personal discretion is probably to the dogs.

Tinubu would not deploy soldiers to Niger. Is he going to fund them from his pocket and pay for their Insurance? Was it budgeted for? He cannot do such until he's authorized by the National Assembly.

It is open knowledge they have kompromat on him. He must therefore do their bidding.
Any one under any guise that dies due to this conflict died for nothing other than one man's ambition and greed.

Sure

Yet, it is not Nigerias personal mission, Nigeria is not invading Niger

ECOWAS doesn't have the mandate to fight wars, it is just going after coupists not warring with Niger

A layman will get it wrong tho

That is democracy, you id1ot. You want to restore democracy in Niger yet your comment portrays authoritarian mentality. You sick hypocrite. In democracy, urgent or not, the constitution must be strictly adhere to, else you are in for treason. You can't send our soldiers to die in senseless proxy war without nass approval, deal with it. You all stup1d self proclaimed democracy champions have authoritarian tendency deep down.
I'm here to educate you when it comes to security and please and please, biko, stop using vulgar languages words to mention me, that's reason when you call police that there's a robbery going on in your house or street, do you still need need NASS or SENATE permission, that's my problem with you guys you claimed you know the law but you didn't follow the street, don't think the British bring this law to favor you, wake up brother.

Life is not about policies all the time.

Ok. If there is resistance from the populace and attack on the ecowas troops, they will not shoot back at the civilians? You honestly think the ecowas troops will just drive to the capital, release the expresident then install as president then drive back to Nigeria in victory?
Anyway, wars are easy to start, ending the war is the problem.
Do you realise 90% of all the okada riders in Lagos, all the SW states, SE, SS are from Niger? Almost all the currency dealers too. The manual laborers are also mostly from Niger.
If you have the means, codedly interact with them and get their opinion. Some say that war Tinubu (they don't know ecowas) is taking war to their country, to kill their family and friends and they will be duplicating it over here.

Even as I don't agree with the bolded, what do you think these Nigeriens will do to us?

Even their country military and their whole populace can't do nada to us talk less of the ones driving Okada to hustle..

If you think they will revolt amidst us, I must beg u to consider it again... I doubt if they will think of such

While the presence of ECOWAS in Niger MAY trigger unrest, their mission still remains flushing out the coupists and retaining order.

Remember that Niger has an Army, they have Police etc

A resistance to the coup is already building up locally in the country

For now, it seems the coupists are in total control but it won't always be like that when there is an intervention, how many are the criminals?

If the Nigerien army didn't back them, what power do they have?

So don't go on thinking that all Nigeriens are on the same page, it's not so.

Imagine if some powers had intervened when Abacha took over power in Nigeria, do you think he would last that long?
We all know that he has some Nigerians behind him but majority were against him...

ECOWAS army falls from d sky? ECOWAS nations jointly make available military personnels, but Nigeria is exceptional.

Nigeria contributes larger resources into d ECOWAS, esp human resources in terms of military personnels.

Just like US in NATO.

Hopefully they cannot do anything to us.
But once some people hear "piam", they and their family will be on the next flight to monitor events from abroad. Hopefully it will not get to that stage.

As much as I agree with you but the ratio of Nigeriens in each street of Lagos to the resident of the street is 1: 50....

They trying such means they earnestly seek to be killed.. Bcox if they must attack, they will attack anyone without tribal recognition... And I trust Nigerians to unite and deal with them mercilessly without thinking of tribal affiliation

Summary.. They can't try any thing in Lagos or west. They can only try but with the help of their brothers but I'm sure that It can be contained

D constitution says Senate should approve d use of our army's external deployment.

Also, how can u say dey're against coupists and not d Nigeriens wen d Nigeriens are behind/in support of d coupists...?

Moreover, are d coupists not Nigeriens?

Already there is an internal resistance building

The Millitary uses force to make the citizens comply, were all Nigerians behind Abacha?

About the deployment, the understanding is already in place, Nigerian Army often participates in international missions, AU, UN without any Senate whatever

There can never b a situation where the whole nation would b in support of any course whether it's a good/bad one.

The only known resistance is dar of a known rebel (as stated) ...(could b for political gains, dats majorly wot dey're known for).

As for Abacha u mentioned. People revolted massively against him naa... Even the so-called Tinubu also revolted against Abacha which resulted him running to exile in early 90's.
Nigerians in Diaspora spoke vehemently against it. There were several movements formed against d regime.

Let's believe dat wen u're inside Niger u would feel caged speaking out against d military regime, what about the Nigeriens living outside Niger, why are dey not speaking out? The ones we do see are d ones calling for non use of force against their country.

Why the coup at first place?
...no be because of bad governance?

There's never a good reason for a coup

Most of the countries with coup history, how far have they gone now?

Nigeria in 1966 is a good example, the result is still with us till date

The people of Osun do not trust their own
son,the Inec's President and comptroller of the Nigerian system that has only but plundered the Nigerian people into more dilemma, disaster and disappointment. So who are the We You are talking about??

While We grew up during the Military junta,We knew this Country was not in a good pace to progress and development, but no one envisaged this level of calamitous pain and suffering which continues to render the low class into a classless level of sorry state.

Apc killed all little and petty progress this Country have made,APC is a maximum disaster.

If You are poor here or from the middle class and You still dey support APC,fogerriiit,You no fit ever get sense for this life again grin
