Supreme Court Upholds Treasonable Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu by fergie001: 11:04am On Dec 15, 2023
The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the treasonable charge against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu has been in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS, since he was re-arrested in 2021.

Recall that the Appeal Court on October 13 last year, discharged Nnamdi Kanu following his extraordinary rendition from Kenya.

The Apex Court set aside the judgement of the Appeal Court and held that the IPoB leader should continue with his trial.

Although, the Supreme Court acknowledged that the bail of Mazi Nnamdi kanu ought not to have been revoked.

The Supreme Court also maintained that the invasion of Nnamdi Kanu's home by the Nigerian Army on the 14th of September 2017 was Illegal. Yet it maintained that Mr Kanu is liable and eligible to stand trial.

O pari.

His lawyers were banking on and playing games with technicalities , doing paparazzi with social media SEO fame and playing with the sensibilities of the poor victims of his violent rhetorics. The Federal Government owes his victims justice.

Only someone with a horrible disdain for justice will see all the evidences of the huge injustices his violent rhetorics caused innocent people that will not feel that his victims deserve justice.

For the sake of justice, he should face the trial and must be allowed to defend himself of the charges so that his culpability or otherwise will be established. Invasion of his home is illegal yet the trial should continue..

Extra-ordinary rendition is also illegal yet the trial should continue.

No more coming to equity table with clean hands...

We'all will surely watch the movie to the very end.

Oh, they thought they could bully Tinubu ?

Do you know how powerful that man is ? Even Buhari that wanted to do nonsense was cautioned and he fell in line.

When Kanu was foolishly abusing BAT and inciting his gullible followers to destroy properties of the future President, he didn't know?

Pray to God, but also pray He softens Tinubu's heart otherwise, Kanu's 8 years in jail is sacrosanct.

Just like Boko Haram, IPOB is an invention of foreign intelligence. MNK was just an unwitting, ignorant willing tool that was influenced and fell cheaply.

Though we depend on the west for weapons and intelligence, but it beats me why FG can not take a diplomatic approach on the excesses of Western intelligence.

FG should free the poor guy. At least he has been made to understand how he was influenced, deceived and used by foreign intelligence to keep Nigeria distracted.

fear who no fear MOSSAD, CIA, MI6 and DGSE

Out!!!
