Theflint1:abuse of which power if I may ask? Is Fashola holding a government position for him to have the state intelligence agency under his beck and call? And who was kidnapped? Have this so called kidnappers made any Ransome demands? |

Itsrm:It is not total madness especially if there is a path to permanent residency and eventual citizenship. If you are raising children and Nigeria is your only option, you need to have a rethink. Right now, Tinubu's daughters are permanent residents in the USA. Do you know how crazy that sounds? |

DontBullshitMe:He did. ncc gave him licence 2 operate even b4 Bubu emerged as d APC presidential candidate in 2014. I believe they (ncc) went through his T&C, Rules & Regulations & it did not clash with nigeria laws hence Twitter was licenced 2 operate in nigeria & they expect all nigeran twitter users 2 obey d app rules. twitter is prohibited in china probably cox d govt did not give dem licence...or maybe twitter rules is against chinese laws. |

Bet 5million was hoooge money pre2015 and you refused to Japa because you're an intellectual investor but inflation and APC policy don useless the money today, what makes you think 50million won't be same in 8years time..... You're not Dangote,Elumelu and otedola....No let village people use you,50million to Japa is a better investment than investing it in Nigeria |

liveLongNprospa:Honestly, I don't know where Tinubu gets his advice from. Threaten these people, mobilise soldiers as a show, sanction them but DO NOT INTERVENE. |

It's better you give your kids the 2nd Passport which is highly necessary. Keep on doing that thing that gave you the 50m. We know Nigeria is terrible at the moment.... Apply wisdom to everything you are doing please |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DontBullshitMe: 12:30pm On Aug 13, 2023 |
Itsrm:Good Point. But is there a safety net when you suddenly stop earning the 50m? Are there other jobs waiting for you even if they won't necessarily pay up to 50m? Everything in Nigeria is on a thin line, no assurance, no guarantee. The entire country has a GDP of below 500 million dollars. Lower than New York, Texas, California, Florida etc. So, where will the opportunities come from? I think people should start comparing Nigeria's GDP to other countries so they can know the extent of the doom and damage that the country is in. |

afrodoc2:Omo the game has been the same since time began. Delusion is thinking you’re choosing women you’re rolling with. Women choose you first then run Stalinist-meets-the-third-Reich level psy-ops to make you think you’re in control. The game is the game. Cuppy just doesn’t need to add the sublety and psy-ops as she is in control. |

liveLongNprospa:Lucky for how long? The issue is with the system itself. If you give am 15 million, he may cry again before next year, because of how the economy has no bearing or direction Some businessmen i know are scared of investing anything. Everything is just unstable at this point |

What to expect. Basically e go red Given the severe devaluation of the Naira, forget any grammar being promoted as "unified exchange rate", a lot of businesses will fail in the next 30-180 days. If you are employed by electronics retail businesses, furniture stores, service companies and others that provide services to elites that are considered luxuries, expect to see more closures. |

Tinubu should fortify our borders with Niger Republic and allow fate decide the affairs of the coupists, we have teething problems to deal with on the home front he shouldn't allow himself to be dragged into a proxy war.. |

Doomsday analysts are waxing lyrical about the perilous situation not out of genuine concern but of spiteful intent, this too shall pass like others before it. God bless men and women of goodwill. |

DontBullshitMe:I'm sure that guy that invested 15m into poultry business was thinking along same lines with itsrm and decided to keep doing what got him the 15m in the first place only for Nigeria to happen to him. And it's not just that guy that's crying, it's the same thing across board, simply ask any business person close to you...it's been very tough. My friends wey Japa since bin dey tell me say make I serious with Japa before Dem close Nigeria gate say make nobody comot again. In my mind I thought they were alarmists and I could take my time with it, but with the way the exchange rate is flying, it seems like the gate is in truth getting shut in our faces. 50m is good money, but at same time it's not a lot. I won't advice anybody to stay back cause they have 50m wey inflation dey chow on a steady. |

ChristineC:You can edge against inflation. Someone on the Uber thread simply buys dollars and keep. That's one way. UCAP eurobond is doing 6.18% YTD, several stocks have also returned earnings double of inflation rate. These are just passive investments. I have not even gone into actual businesses. |
