Looks like Christiano Ronaldo is about to create another record in football's history. His presence seems to be influencing more big football names to Saudi Arabia.

If the Saudis were paying peanuts like in the nigerian league, will they go there because of Ronaldo?

Infuence??! What influence??!

They are joining the league for the exact same reasons as he did:

1. Money (Excess of it)
2. They are diminishing and are being replaced by youngsters in Europe

What a riot and raid pulled off by these Oil Merchants this year alone...! Next thing is to retire the remaining good coaches from Europe down there.

Arabs are quietly sauntering into the global scene, with money. Lots of it.

They're buying European football clubs, hosting world athletic tournaments, buying superstars into their Arabian leagues to boost television earnings, ratings and viewership. Pouring money into the European football space through massive spendings in player signings and infrastructural developments.

And through all of this, the West is busy grovelling on the dollars and ignoring the fact that Arabs are making inroads.. grin

Ronaldo effect!
Truth be said...the healthy competition between the duo of Messi and Ronaldo has brought out the best in them and also make the game of soccer enjoyable.
Thank God it was my time this happened.
one side to a system does not make one consider possible prospect and talent on the flip side.
No thanks to FIFA, Ronaldo and Messi are both GOAT in the game, in my opinion
I salute the duo!!!

Are European leagues paying peanuts like the Nigerian league? Is the MLS paying peanuts? Is the Chinese league paying peanuts? Is the Turkish league paying peanuts?

Calm down bros. That excuse doesn't hold water.

Yes of course, scoring only one goal at the world cup, while the main goat, da merciless MESSI 🐐, AKUYA in my language, or BUSURU, lifted the world cup, and was crowned KING of football at the final ceremony, while your own goat, was knocked out on the bench, cos his coach doesn't believe in him anymore 🤣🤣🤣.

Seriously bro...

Russia is turning Europe upside down... Asia is running unchecked with Technology... Now, Arabians have literally scooped the biggest game in the universe.

Once they succeed in buying Manchester United and Liverpool, they will shift their attention to Spain and Italy.

The Saudis have a programme they are executing and money is the influence not Ronaldo.
You're right.
It's money

If Ronaldo moved to Kano Pillars, no player will follow him, if so much money is not involved

Maybe they've thought rather than buying clubs in Europe and sponsoring clubs, they better bring the players over to their country, no matter the cost. This way, their citizens will enjoy watching football stars live I their country

What if europe was paying peanuts like in Nigeria league, will people be playing in Europe because it’s europe?

You should realise that europe also used money, media and the likes to build their leagues.

Players are going to Saudi league to make money and enjoy their retirement. We all know how Saudis are ready to spend lavishly on football.

Young superstars like Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Vini Jnr, Jamal Musiala, Haaland etc will not go to such a league.

That our nija guy at Napoli would soon regret not joining Saudi club. By the the way every business is all about money. I pray for him not to be one season type

Well, he still has time and age... If this season doesn't go well enough, he can still go make the money next year.

If he does take his success a notch up in Italy, he will be among those ruling Europe in no time.

Either way, this will likely be his last season at Napoli.
