Valto is right. The quote is over- inflated. The installer want to build house on your pocket.

I bought interlight 220ah tubular battery for 137k last month (I was given discount as I also bought smarten 2.5kva inverter there). Even on this thread, they are advertised max 155k .... I'm seeing 180k for Tubular battery on your list.. Except the extra 30k is for transport per battery if you're not in Lagos cheesy

U bought battery for 135k and you are happy. My advice is treat that ba3 like an egg, don't discharge 50%.

Anyway expect that china brands will be cheaper than Indian brands.

Please I just noticed today that my charge controller is reading panel input voltage of 24v this night, has anyone witness this before and what could cause this.

I have 2 charge controllers. One is reading 14.9 volts right now and the other is reading 21 volts.

I have solar street lights near them, perfectly normal scenario.

Don't fret

I will suggest to buy battery locally as much as practicable. For people living in Uyo, it is easier to return failed battery to supplier in Uyo than in Lagos.

Can you return a battery that failed after 6 months back to the seller?

cheesy

I shock when I see that price o...the last time I spoke with Idyllic about 2 months ago or so, their 200ah batteries were around 200k or more.

I'm available boss, hit me up n lemme also send my quotes as well 08025911622

Regarding the quote u posted for vetting, first of all, I would advice u go for LiFePO4 battery instead of Tubular battery

I will also getting a favourable quote from professional s here and see how we can work it out.

A couple of people here sell original batteries. If you want lithium batteries, speak with Valto or 2 other guys whose adverts I have seen here in passing.

If you want lead acid batteries, a sales manager from Idyllic is here. You can also check previous threads for contacts. I am almost sure that no reputable person here will sell or recommend a bad battery for you.

It is not advisable walking into a random store, online or offline, to buy batteries. You will most likely buy a fake battery. And fake batteries fail in 3 - 6 months (if you are lucky, 9 months), so it will be nearly impossible to have it returned. The seller will blame it on you that you either didn't charge it well or overcharged it. I speak out of direct experience.

I know say he dey whyne me.

I asked if he has StarPlus battery but he said no. And my budget could only carry either of the two. So I opted for Interlight

Hello house, i just started reading through this thread, I’m trying to install an inverter for my moms house, I’ve gotten 2pcs of 12V 220ah luminous battery, a felicity mppt charge controller and 4pcs of 350 watts panels. My plan is to get a 2kva or 2.5kva inverter, the problem is I don’t know which brand to buy, the sellers in warri showed me luminous, techfine and genus inverters. can someone recommend the best inverter to go for?

Hello bosses in da house, i have a peculiar problem. Every two months or so i must have to change my elongated 1mm extension cable, mind you the follow come extension cable is still working to this moment, but i have continued to replace the 1mm flex cable every 2 months.

So house my suspicion is i am buying fake 1mm wire, because it can't be overload as i only use laptop on this extension. Or is there anything I'm doing wrong?

You are most probably buying an interior cable.

Hello House; am new to this topic and I have been following almost all comments. If anyone can help me, I will like a quote for 50kva solar inverter installation requirements & cost.

Someone recommended I use felicity inverter and lithium battery with it's solar panels. Is this product really the best out there in the market and what's it's durability test based on any experienced user?

Also let me note that the 50kva is for 5 apartments meaning 10kva per apartments. Also what is the expected usage of equipments per apartments running at that 10kva solar inverter power system. Thanks in Advance

What's your location?

You need I presume a current limiter/voltage regulator for your inverter.

In recent days my utility current has been less than stable.

I never experienced this until now, now I am getting two. One for my inverter and one for my printer (not on the inverter) that unfortunately lost its power board due to a utility incident.

I did not get one before now because my ulitity voltage and been extremely stable.

Hope is not a strategy. Play safe.

Which size of external AC charger is recommended for use for 12V 200AH AGM GEL Battery.

Your inputs would be highly appreciated.

Thank you

EPOMA:

Go for good panels like Era , Jinko, Original Canadian Solar. You need a good Tier 1 panel and good positioning . Agood inverter is also adviseable .

We need ask what type of Roof-Top their house uses. Some roof-tops are not really optimized for solar-Panels
