Despite the issues had, just take a look at the calibre of men then in the Military leadership then. The likes of Aguiyi, Fajuyi, Ejoor, Effiong, Ojukwu, Nzeowgu, Wey.

Men with courage. Unfortunately, the serpent and the devils in their cunning ways had their way. The inferior warrant. Danjuma, Buhari, IBB, Murtala etc can anyone draw any similarities on the above names? Products of the quota system , nepotism and incompetence.

Rest, you cunning man. You want an argument, you won't get one! Northern Soldiers are not inferior, but the men I stated were definitely inferior to the other men I mentioned.

Also, last I checked, Ejoor wasn't a Southerner.
Among the soldiers that have my respect are also the likes of Katsina and Maimalari. These men were Leaders.
Fajuyi was a formidable soldier and we heard of his stories and performance in the Congo.
