Naira rising for one day is not evidence of it working. It's just sign of Government intervention/speculators on that day. Unless Govt plans and has capacity to intervene everyday, it will find it's square root slowly but surely over time. Nigeria spent over $12bln defending Naira last year so I'm not sure how far $3bln will go
