Goto the bank and complain, they will call him to enquire

Get a court order to block the account

Report to police

Message fccp, DSS on twitter, message cbn

If you know lawyer it will work

Nysc suppose help too
The money you'll spend on getting worthless information from Nigerian police is 5 times the money he lost.
Hackers could help. But who get time.

Must be witchcraft! Nothing else. I can't believe someone can be stupid enough to send money or any valuable thing to someone you have never met in person before?

Good day everyone.

At this point, I have no other option than to put this out here, and I pray I get a solution from here.

A friend ordered and paid for a phone and the vendor blocked her instead of delivering the phone.

I saw a post on Twitter where @Xiaomi_nigeria announced a reduction in the prices of Redmi 12C all through August.

A friend has been saving to get a phone, so I forwarded the post to her to see if she would be interested.
She got interested and I asked around for vendors online as we currently serve (we are corp members) in a remote village far away from any city where it is possible to get the phone in a store.
Escalate it on twitter, tag the NG police, CBN and the bank where the payment was made and the bank from which the payment was made.
Re: My Experience With An Online Phone Purchase Scam by Dammyseyon(m): 11:14pm On Aug 18, 2023
Op, don't beat yourself too much, it could be anybody.
But in addition to what many people have said up there, let me drop what I think might help.

Screenshot your chats with the scammer and that of your friends with the scammer, attach the part he blocked and stop responding too and convert all into 1 single PDF file ("to be renamed evidence of conversation")

Contact your bank and request for your statement of account for the period that captures the exact amount as stated in your evidence of conversation with the scammer (to be in pdf)

Send a detailed mail stating what ensued to your bank's contact centre email address putting the beneficiary's bank(scammer's bank) and the CBN Frauddesk and CBN Nigeria in copy and watch your bank do the bulk of the job.

Mails are powerful in banks with CBN in copy these days

Sorry for your loss, I hope God replenish you abundantly and appropriately

Go to the bank you paid to and explain this to them.. I mean go to any closest branch of the bank (sterling bank), complain to them, provide proof and I hope they can help you retrieve your cash.

Sorry for your loss, send the phone number u use in communicating with the scammer including proof of transaction. Let me do what I have to do. But remember, ones the scammer is apprehended, is either he pay u though the security agency as fine in order to avoid jail or he gets a free ticket to jail.
Good day.

Please can you help with an Agro vendor who mixed up goods with thrash to defraud the buyer and managed to miraculously escape with her family the day the Police were going in to arrest her?

Thank you.

The scammer is using an opay account with probably a fake name. And opay is an online bank without any functional physical office for customers. Also, opay doesn't ask for your BVN registered number when opening an account with them. This means that you can open an account with any number and any name. So technically, the account is untraceable.

I'm still surprised that people can still be this dumb in this era. How on Earth would you transfer money to a total stranger you don't know and haven't met and expect him to waybill phone to you.

He said he's serving in a remote village, he could have just waited till their next break, then move to the city and get it, or better still transfer the money to any of his siblings to buy and waybill it for him. It's much better and safer than trusting a total stranger.
Fear God o. Opay uses BVN .

Op, go to Facebook search for Fisayo Soyombo and Fij Nigeria, table your issue before him. Or go to www.fij.ng to lodge a complaint, your money will be refunded.
Modify: you can email your complaints to justice@fij.ng

I have been on this platform for years and for once I have to say something because I feel this is personal. I school in Ekpoma and Ultimate is someone I know very well. I have bought phone from his shop and someone close to me learnt how to fix phone from him. I don't know him as Ultimate Samphill and the person on that DP is not the Ultimate I know. I will contact my guy who learnt work from him about this page. And OP if you want I can give you direction on how to locate his walk in store in ekpoma. He should be able to know the person impersonating him.

Precious_baby76 is a scammer and possibly the same person that scammed you and is hiding behind a woman's profile. If you check her profile on twitter (X), you'll still see her promoting the same guy that scammed you with her every post, so beware of people tagging a business vendor ln social media. This Precious_baby76 seems to do it for a living. Lol.

She made the payment on Thursday. The payment was made to 8528492642,
Kizito Oguizu, @Sterling_Bankng. He promised she would receive the package on Friday or Saturday.

After waiting all through Saturday, we decided to check back on Sunday to know why the phone has not been delivered yet.

He complained about the vehicle bringing the phone breaking down somewhere and the need to fix it.

He promised to deliver on Monday or make a refund.
Please go to his bank and report the account showing Evidences. The bank will block the account until he resolves the case.
You can also report to EFCC. They like this kind of case. They will milk him dry

is not a problem ordering something online, pay on delivery is the best way to go
Most people are wicked
As soon as you arrive with their goods, they start looking for faults in the products and try to undercharge you.
Especially, food stuff.

Payment on delivery is only good for electrical and electronic appliances or gadgets.

Instead of me to go through the stress of payment on delivery, come over and buy the fufu flour or palm oil, if you don't trust us enough to deliver.

Another way we deliver is signing an MOU with a lawyer and bank involved.
I won't be allowed to spend the money till you get your goods in one piece.

Use another account to reach out to the user, tell him that you would like to use him as a reseller and want to deliver some goods (phones). Praise him for his influence and all that... Be serious, show proof that you have the goods and tell him how you would deliver it to him, act like a fool and say if he can sell 10 or 20, you would give him more... Make inquiry if he sells laptops or just anything to draw his attention.
If you can get the delivery address for a meet up, good otherwise it is difficult. sad
Lol, and what if he's here reading this post.
