It took them weeks to sanitise their system and remove Bazoum's Government including governors and all former government ministers and officials, and appointed a Prime Minister. If they can't handover in less than 1 year then they were not prepared for the coup. They just got up and did what they did for whatever reason they have.

In the first instance, what business does ECOWAS have intervening in the matters of a sovereign nation? A bloodless coup for that matter. We all know that the real engineers of this war are the French and the Americans and our continent is simply the theatre for their wealth grabbing games. We all know why Tinubu wants this war, but he has failed because as far as Nigeria is concerned, even if war breaks out we are not officially part of it as the senate turned down his request for our military to participate in this needless and senseless war. Kindly educate yourself on world politics and diplomacy. Niger is under ECOWAS and they all have a common agreement. Tinubu as the head of ECOWAS can go to this war. He is not fighting on behalf of Nigeria, but ECOWAS. Mind you, they put this decision into a vote. Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Ivory Coast, etc are all among those who voted that a military intervention is the way forward if no resolution via dialogue is achieved.

As I expect, the junta leader is shifting ground. And ECOWAS won't stop with Niger. Listen...we are moving into Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea soon.

The military must get it into their brains that guns are meant to protect and not intimidate and rule. Period!
