For Staff of PMU Just know that your salary is in dollars 💵 and not Naira cause its World Bank Funded Project by WB PIU. Different from regular TCN staff.

PMU is a department under tcn they are paying in naira as normal staff... stop confuse people here

Wait o, I'm genuinely asking because I'm clueless, if #2 was not hijacked by politicians, how come almost all the people who screened were not shortlisted?

I have been following this thread since the day it was opened, seen many people quoting big figures as salary. The thread was actually for both private and government agencies, but now it has been dominated by government agency job seekers.

Today, I have decided to asked questions and hope I will get some good answers from people here.

1. Pls, how do one get into a federal institution of learning without the necessary m.sc cert.
2. What is the faith of someone without any G, not even 1G in getting these govt agency jobs.
3. How and what are the criteria of getting an NGO job in Nigeria.

This reminded me of something I read in "The Millionaire next door" How the teacher and the attorney are brothers, the attorney earns double what the teacher earns annually but the teacher is able to build wealth and will probably leave an inheritance while the attorney will most likely loose all his income to a high consumption lifestyle.

Is still same thing. If nipost salary is 55k before subsidy removal and after subsidy is 150k, how much will you spend from your salary and how much will be your take home in a month? Or do you think if they increase minimum wage, things in the market won't be high as well?

what most ppl forgot is that..this recruitment was suppose to be replacement initially becus last year the pressure was much on the CG that the number of people waiting for replacement were much. The CG has to send for approval to recruit 5000 so as to accommodate more people. This is the reason why few were called. That's why NSCDC did not even border to advertise for senior cadre.

But out of these 5000 people approved for recruitment, I doubt if more than 1000 have been shortlisted so far

How far with immigration and Civil defense, are they in camp now? I think the new minister would still be given preferential treatment in the area of slots?
