President Tinubu rubbed shoulders with his Dad late Prince Abubakar Audu as fellow governors several years a go. The young man prostrating is his way to appreciate Tinubu in recognition of the relationship with his late father. He carefully thought about it and had it mind to surprise Tinubu and Iam sure being a Yoruba, Tinubu will deeply appreciate that gesture with thoughts like "Dide omo dada!".

Even Buhari who is officially older than Tinubu and arguably more influential in the North did not have ministers and members of his cabinet coming to prostrate for him in the name of respect.

We don't need sycophants or yes men in government. Will such a person be able to defend his position on an issue before the president if he believes it is the right thing to do? On the evidence of this, I doubt.

Why u guys always muscle unnecessarily about the Culture you don’t understand and you’re not ready to learn. Everything can’t be politics because is minister now he can’t respect his father any longer.

I think Steel is still a great role. Nigeria's iron ore deposit is still largely in the North Central. The Ajaokuta steel company which is meant to be crucial to Nigeria's steel strategy is in Kogi, a state where his late father is well respected

On reaching there,he was drinking campari with his elder brother,I greeted him and then prostrated for him in full show of respect and humility,but immediately he rebuked me telling me to stand up and never ever to prostrate again for him saying "we are not yorubas"so I stood up and shaked him with two hands as a sign of respect like we igbos originally greet our elders.immedialy he asked me to get a cup and drink campari with him while we discuss like men

So Mr respect,to prostrate is not in igbos culture,my wife is Yoruba but my son can never ever prostrate for me dem.no.born am well to try am,

To prostrate is not respect,it is your culture,it's forbidden in my own culture,respect peoples culture and stop fooling around.

You don't treat government which is the place for official conduct to showcase your cultural proclivities.

Just the same way you won't expect a sitting president to be referring to Bishop Oyedepo as Daddy at an official function. He can address him that way if they are having a personal conversation but not at an official function.

I hope you are rational enough to understand the difference.
