United Niger Delta Union… A union of folks that have one thing in common… related to IGBO….

LOL

How wonderful….

Before Oyibo criminals came they were living together in peace and marriage…. But allow Jan.jaweed rulers and Ibadan press to divide them

You've been focusing on the negative comments, not the positive ones that many Igbos like myself have posted in regards to your people's quest for self-determination.

In truth, this map is just as offensive as anything IPOB have come up with but many Igbos here are being courteous and respectfully disagreeing with it. You would do well to mind yourself just as the poster your replying should.

The last line of this your message sounds marginally near to a warning. Is that what it is, woman?

Igboid:

They are bunch of evil people.
I pity any Igbo group that are too dense to see that once Ndiigbo are gone, they will channel their Igbo hate towards them ( Igbos in SS).

Ndiigbo will not beg Igbos in SS to jolt back to senses and return to Nzuko Umunna with SE.
We will let them have their wish with the Minorities, with the promise that no help will come from us to them in the future when the jungle in that tower of Babel Minorities country mature.
We will not play the Zik/Ukiwe role again.

Onulu ube nwanne ga-akuchi nti !

Unfortunately, this may end up being the case. I may be wrong but I feel that the reason some igbo-denying SS Igbos persist with their Igbophobia is because they think that even if the worst should happen to them, our people will forgive and welcome them back with open arms.

I'm starting to see a trend with many SE Igbos (and the SS Igbos that have always embraced their Igbo heritage); we no longer care for the old Biafra boundaries. We're just focused on ourselves. I'm happy to see this smiley.

In your response to that poster, you said that Igbos (the entire tribe, not just him), should respect themselves. I am telling you to do the same. Many came into this thread respectfully but you didn't want to acknowledge them. You only acknowledge the few who were being negative and went on to insult our entire ethnic group because of it.

How silly you must feel to know that the poster you're responding to is Yoruba, not Igbo.

Continue with your Igbophobia. Let's see where it gets you.

Eastern region is dead brah...no one connects to it anymore.
What influence does it have in politics, economy, security, education, revenue and all of that?
The highest national public office holder is a deputy speaker of the HoR.
a Niger Deltan is the Senate President.
We have more pull in national affairs.
We have a larger land mass and have more resources.
So what damn eastern region are you talking about?

It's not to be opening your mouth everywhere like a gorilla on heat. When you Igbos feel you've eaten properly, bring your idiocy to the Niger Delta. I'm happy you've admitted that we're "guns for hire".

We'll simply tell the rest of the world not to interfere, then we'll enclose that small dusty region and bury you people in your red sand. So we can rid humanity of your nuisance once and for all.

You think if we were to hold on to grudges from the civil war, Peter Obi would have even had the liberty to campaign anywhere in the SS? Be here yapping like a seasoned illiterate!

I will soon sue their elders for stealing 6 million pounds when they invaded Midwestern region.

We've been tolerating this cursed tribe too much.

According to Geography and Judging by the definition and physical characteristics of a Delta, only Bayelsa and Rivers states, perhaps some part of Delta state, should make states that make what is referred to as Niger delta in terms of Geographical location and feature. All others found themselves in there as a matter of political interest. Edo state most especially being an upland state, doesn't have any business with what constitute a delta, therefore shouldn't be there. However, this is Nigeria, white can be green, while blue can be labeled purple, as long as interests and sentiments are involved

Rubbish Edo is head of Niger Delta upland or not.

There is a reason why your fathers ran away from Port Harcourt and abandoned their houses there.
Unfortunately, you are not getting the message Wike and Rivers people have been passing.

You will see the same thing your fathers saw very soon.

Leave those native goats! They're apparently mistaking our relative quietude for ignorance and weakness.

Same animals who pillaged our lands, raped our women and burnt our homes in early 1968 because we refused to give them an express access corridor to the West, now feel they have the moral grounds to come and lay claims, after we've spent the decades rebuilding all they destroyed.

They should just play with themselves. Even that cannibalism they think they know, we'll make them understand that they learnt it from us. We are not called "Atam" people for nothing. Na just civilization make us peaceful.

Rwanda massacre will be a child play, this people's are really under a curse.

so d igbos abused your Oba, I can't remember abusing anybody!

The Niger-delta is a great and blessed place. It needs to wake seriously. A place blessed with oil, yet still not up to standard. They can have their own country if it's God's will.

The South-East is blessed. Has the only tribe that lost almost everything in the civil war and became almost or the richest in Nigeria. South-East has low dependence on oil. The South-East does not need crude oil deposit to survive. Does USA have crude oil? Does Germany have crude oil? I am not sure. The South-East should throw away all anger, pride and fighting into the dustbin, and gather together to make the East Dubai. They are blessed. They can have their own country, but not in anger, agitation and fighting, and only if it's God's will. They may have to look for a new country name.

God bless the Yorubas.

God bless the Hausas.

God bless all tribes in Nigeria.

God bless one Nigeria.
The south East needs reorientation the way they do Oxygen.
Have you heard the phrase before, "individually rich, collectively impoverished"?

If you read the history of these colonial masters, what they had is what they offered. One man at one point in time came and united fragmented clans and tribes to make big nations. Otto von Bismarck of Germany, Ghengis Khan of China, Oliver Cromwell and others of Great Britain.....
Same in some parts of Africa. Stronger tribes absorbing others or influencing others. The oranmiyan of Oyo empire, the kwararafa kingdom...
The dynamic of civilization is, a stronger civilization will colonize weaker ones, the weaker is assimilated, learns the arts of their master's liberates themselves and develop an equal or a stronger empire and the cycle continues. Africa is learning fast, faster than most other nations. Romans ruled the world for almost a millennium, no colony can take that now.
African nations are too backward, and are not going with the tides of nationhood and civilization. The PM of Great Britain is an Indian, Barak Obama an African became president of the strongest nation in the world. Hitler wasn't from Germany perse. Many Nigerians hold political posts in Europe and USA.

Here in Africa, a Nigerian cannot be councilor in Ghana or Cameroon. Our thinking is warped by ethnicity, religion, greed and stupidity.

This same stupidity is still expressed by some in this thread.
Dear brother, we still have a very loooong way to go.

I read a book long ago, a satire by a Ghanaian about Ghana, ' The Beautyful Ones are Not Yet Born '
Maybe, in no distant future, we will have the beautiful ones, with the beautiful hearts and minds to make Africa beautiful. But, how long?

Hmmn, the beautyful ones are not yet born.. Gosh my brother had that book when I was so young but I never read it. He was an arts student and studied history.

Pls how good is this book for a review?

slaves of the igbos grin

The other way round actually. Indigenous tribes of the Niger Delta were masters.

Fortunately, colonialists intervened and slaves integrated into the society. Even one of the slaves was conferred leader of one of the communities owing to the magnanimity and receptiveness of the indigenous tribes. Today, some Igbos attempt to claim such areas as Igbo areas.

As for the slave matter, go find out about the Igbo Landing.

These are just facts and history.

Far be it from me to be against the unity of the Igbos, my brother. And let it not be heard that I sought to put division between you Igbos and your supposed Ikwerre brothers.

That said, please do take my advice. You and your people in Igbo lands should sit down to townhall meetings and further send a high-powered delegation to Ikwerre land to tell them that they're part of your region and should best be prepared to join you soon as your Biafra is achieved.

I'm sure the rest of us will eagerly await the response the Ikwerres will give to you.
Nnamdi Kanu once visited Ikwerre land, so shut up.
