The roads constructed by Dee Sam Mbakwe Over 30 years ago still dey for. Abia and Imo. And states.
The ones done by Michael Ọkpara for aba, ph, Enugu still dey reach now. Umahi is not serious.

naa 6 years is too much for Nigerians make it 6months we are fine with that with Nigeria its best to lower your expectations to save you from frustration and anger after 6months you can carry out maintanance on the road for 2X the cost so as to make good money we would still love you

And how do you arrive at these figures because the little engineering I know will factor cost, function and environment to determine lifespan.

So, infrastructure has no fixed lifespan just like the cars, trucks, boats, aircraft, people, animals, and substances that use them.

Even that, is substandard. Quality asphalt isn't supposed to require any repairs or maintenance for a minimum of 10years.

If the constructing company is J. Berger or RCC, their minimum standard is between 15 to 20years.

I won't be surprised if Umahi decides to construct Federal roads with his indigenous Ebonyi state construction companies. That can be the only reason he's already preparing our minds for low budget road deliveries.

In Anambra, the Awka/Onitsha old road built by Chris Ngige in 2003 has lasted for 20yrs still solid.
