Niger is hosting more than 300,000 refugees and asylum seekers from Nigeria, mainly because of the insurgency in
Northern Nigeria by the Boko Haram.

What many people don't know about this issue is that Nigeria risks loosing a lot if Niger does not does not goes back to civillian rule.
There is a gas pipeline that would run from Nigeria to Europe passing through Niger republic.
Europe depend on this gas as they want to be independent of Russian gas.
However, Russia want to truncate this project because they still want to control gas supply to Europe , so they sponsored this coup.
It is in Nigerias best interest for that pipeline reaches Europe.
Ecowas would invade Niger if they dont return to civillian rule or if the military government commits to allowing this pipeline project(which they won't because that is Russia's game plan all along) Know this and know peace
