If you beg them to sell below their cost price and they say no, you make them the enemy of the country. That's the political culture here.

Ideally, you shouldn't beg anyone. Instead, you go and fix those factors that make local production expensive in Nigeria. That's what leaders do.

That is the problem with monopoly.. they boxed out other players so they will be the ones dictating price and be getting richer. Government gives them incentives like waivers, tax holidays etc. and they get their major raw materials which include limestone right here in Nigeria (limestone is in Ewekoro in Ogun state and in 13 other states), so what is their excuse??

dangote uses predatory pricing.....he uses the corrupt system to favor his business.

I know one day a government will stop the Monopoly, nothing lasts forever.

How many people are ready to venture into greenfield construction with the attendant interests on loans, multiple taxation, bureaucracy with registrations and affiliations, hangers-on, etc as the Dangote Group does.
