no issue at all. I have returned with passport with 1 week validity. As long as it is valid even for 1 day it is to be used.

- Excessive credit utilisation
- More credit searches
- Hard searches (Elfin conducts a hard search afterwards)..... Soft search for application, then hard search if you want their card..........

I am vexing for Elfin.
When I-registered my details, they pre-approved me for £2k .
When I clicked to go ahead, they performed a HARD CREDIT SEARCH on my fragile credit record.

Then they approved a miserly £800 credit for me.
Wetin I wan carry £800 do? Shey na to buy bobo juice for my girlfriend’s son?

Go to the deposit scheme… I am sure you were sent online details. Dispute it there and claim back everything and so the process will be kickstarted.
Dont ask for any receipt nor go to the agency. The deposit should be with a scheme. Go to the scheme and start with the claim to get all you deposit back. You will kickstart the process. Don’t agree to anything as you will shoot yourself in this way . If it gets to adjudication the team will still judge it wisely
Mine wanted to deduct 1k for extravagant charges they got only 60 pounds after the long process of adjudication. The scheme would handle it all free of charge. Total process took about 2 months
That was the mistake I made, willing to part with £200 and asking for balance however the greedy landlord wanted all so I disputed all their claims. Adjudicator commended me for being fair and requested my deposit to be refunded without any contest

Alot of people make that mistake. Working with emotions. If you didn’t accept that £200 in the 1st instance , you would have received everything back as they would need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was caused by you and so many other factors
Even if it was caused by you, you will not be expected to pay reparations as if it’s a brand new item or house.. the adjudicator takes everything into consideration .

Good day my ppl. So I got my pay slip and saw some new stuff (I was away from work for one week due to sickness). Saw osp, ssp and osp contra payment, but they didn't make any difference to the money.
Osp payment + Ssp payment = Osp contra payment
They added osp and ssp then subtracted osp contra, thereby making net difference zero (0), so in other words, no effect on the final payment.
Abeg what does it mean please, I've checked the Internet but still don't get it.

@biggtt76

I was looking for information about the UK provisional driving license, so I had to go back to older posts and saw your comment on how you went back and forth with DVLA on your application.

Please I recently applied for the provisional driving license, I received a form via post from them today to fill. My issue is, do I have to put my original passport or BRP in the return envelope cos that's where I'm not comfortable with and they said they don't want photocopy.

Could you please guide me through this?

Response from others here will be appreciated.
