This is one of the reasons people like Tinubu would continue ruling us in this country. We continously support mediocrity. Someone who recently could not qualify us for world cup against a terrible Ghanaian team, who could also not defeat a very weak Tunisian team at AFCON, who has always been underwhelming all the time he had the opportunity to coach the super eagles?

Bros, we cannot continue to go back in our football. I'll rather we try an untested hand and fail with him than choosing someone who has failed on several occasions and very much likely to fail again.

This is unfortunately the Nigerian DNA

We love to enthrone MEDIOCRITY.

Why is Pulisic starting games ahead of Chuku-Chuku Chukwueze ? undecided
He should be a starter not a super sub

I dont know much about Nwakali and have not seen him play for once, but hyping a player base on performance during his U 17 days or one off performance, 7 years ago is out of it. It is like saying James Rodriguez, Walcott, Pato to mention a few who failed to made it after being tip to be the greatest.

On the other hand, A team requires the right mixture of players, as far as the Super Eagles is concern, we dont have a creative midfielder who can control the midfield and give the final pass to our strikers. We need to try other creative midfielder like Nwakali, Amoo and the likes in that midfield. France was still inviting Giroud even when he was a flop in Arsenal based on their lack of option.

Nwakali is currently a below par player but could be useful to the Super Eagles as we are greatly lacking in that area. We have players that we do the defensive work for him.

Dude was signed as a youth player at Arsenal that's all on a youth contract. That contract will have multiple clauses with stipulated performance milestone. For instance if he gets registered for the first team of Arsenal then so much £££, if plays a certain number of games for the first team turn you get so much ,£££. But in his case he achieved nothing.

Oustanding youth players can get in excess of £5k if they start playing first team football ⚽ then it becomes a professional contract thrm it could well above £30k.

However, Nwakali was not oustanding in Arsenal and never attained any performance related milestones. So how therefore, did you conclude he made so much money 🤑 from Arsenal.

He went on loan from club to club without making any impact he rather got demoted form the Eredivise to the Eerste Division second tier, before the ignominious decent to youth football in Porto B.

His time in the very lowly poverty stricken Segunda division with Huesca where he was the second lowest paid player in the club getting less than €3k a week . Before dropping further to Ponferradina getting even lower wages and now at Chavez getting less than €1.5k a week. That's plenty money to you abe .

What about his living expenses, equipment costs he isn't sponsored by any sports company and he will pay tax.

Once again in you over zealous favouritism you have become delusional.

Now when I present objective appraisal anchored ⚓ on facts you will say HATE .

All the players that I don't talk about and haven't talked about for years as SE potential are doing way better than him and I don't still think they are good enough.

You are just ranting and don't know anything about Kelechi Nwakali's contract. I repeat, he has made lots of money that if he calls his career off today, he is made.

He may not have made as much as big stars in the game but he has made something and still young enough to sign a retirement package.

What he is focused on is making a name that his talent can give him. He is ready to take low pay now to push his career to make a name.

Below is a house he built in 2018. Your mock will not take away God's goodness in his life.

Simple logic, some will argue. We need midfielders that can retain the ball and control game with passes. We don't have in the Super Eagles today. Invite those that can do it and some are hyperventilating.

Even though I disagree with the below par comment, I agree with the general idea.

Thank you for your post.

Finidi should be given the job on interim basis, they can make it permanent later(depending on his performance after a run of games, maybe 5 matches). My opinion✌️

I don't expect people like you who experienced military rule in Nigeria to call for a coup. It seems the freedom you guys are enjoying don too much!
You need the military to reset your brain! The Niger style that happened in 1966 and 1983 led us to the problems we are encountering today.
I remember in the late 80s, we had running water in the house my parents rented but after a while it stopped working. We complained but we were told that the pipelines were diverted by the army for their use cos it passes through the army barrack. Who born you to protest! That was how we were thrown into water scarcity and had to leave that house.
Educated people should be wise enough to put the country ahead of tribe.
Calling for a coup cos someone from your tribe is not in govt. will not take us anywhere. You have state Governors and Senators hold them accountable!

The military will worsen our situation and drive us 30 years backwards.

The military is one of the reasons our nation is currently standing precariously on the edge of disintegration.
They will start well and end so badly.
