Omo....Prices dey change by minute now for market o.....no low budget again o for this Tinubu regime. Everything price don high. Island or mainland, village sef or rural community.

Carry the money you get, go market buy anything you fit buy and jehely dey go back house you hear so..

I dey laugh you...because you buy things in smaller quantity ba? Like 50 naira groundnut, 50 naira cup of garri, 50 naira sugar abi.


Op, if you can afford for now, just buy in bulk or stock up with the things you need.

what do you mean mean by this? Do you think ikorodu is a rural community or a village?Rent is somehow reasonable , but bag of rice and other food items are the same with other places on the mainland. We at ikorodu are also not finding it easy with high cost of living .

40k should be enough, if you don't eat outside, I mean doing your cooking yourself.

maybe you need to read what the op posted again. And could you please educate me on what contributes to high cost of living? If not food and rents ? And he excludes rent which is one of the reasons most people decides to move down to ikorodu .

Ikorodu rent is not cheap either. Unless you want to move to gberigbe. Or interior Adama.

Like someone said up there, cost of feeding is high everywhere. Unless you can buy in bulk from mile 12. That might be a bit cheaper than street market.

That place na one of the most tiring places in Lagos to live in.

Especially the bad roads in the streets, government did not try for them at all both state and local governments, it is only JIMI BENSON that is trying for them.
