Nigerians and Africans are prone to drug dealing, scams and other crimes globally. What they (and most Africans) do not know is majority of it is by a single tribe, in which case many do not care as long as they label the whole country and continent. In every country visited globally the research is very clear that Igbos have seriously tarnished the reputation of black people.

In Nigeria, the worst of it is drug dealing and the NDLEA will tell you that majority of drugs leaving the airports for foreign markets are by the same tribe. NAFDAC will tell you that the majority of fake goods (spare parts, medicines, etc) are by the same tribe) passing themselves off as legitimate business people. More Nigerians have died from fake goods than from terrorism.

In Africa: The growing xenophobia in places like South Africa, Ghana and other nations is because of the same tribe and their criminal activities.

I can tell you about my research in South America, Asia, Europe and even the Caribbean where the latest Nigerian and African migrants are Igbo drug dealers and scammers.

For a people who make so much money from global crimes you will think their states will look like Dubai but they are actually one of the most poverty stricken after the Northern states.
