Do Non-africans Care About Dangote? by DaChosenOne(op): 9:12pm On Aug 28, 2023
I was thinking about how when Asian, Arab, Western & South American billionaires are globally known African billionaires are not. The average non-Nigerian/African has no idea who he is. I was watching a male host talk about how Dangote got rich in cement then when asked to explain more about Dangote, the male host says nobody cares to the enquiring viewer.

Bill Gates was doing charity work in Nigeria. When do see you see African billionaires going to the West or Asia to help Western & Asian people. Lol, Bill Gates was spending his own money to take care of poor Nigerians.
I mean an equal relationship like Elon Musk working with Jack Ma of China for business purposes. Not philantropy.

I'm serious. African billionaires are not globally known like non-African ones and have less political and economic power. Dangote is Africa's richest man yet when you compare him to Bezos. His wealth significantly less. Someone made an interesting point to me. That African billionaires are less rich than Bezos for instance despite having access to all the richest of Africa- Oil, Diamonds, Cobalt etc.
Bezos got rich from selling books.

The remaining billionaires are not interested in cement.

If Dangote was a technology guru, he would be over popular

Let him go and buy Arsenal

The average non-African cannot name an African billionaire other than Elon Musk. African billionaires are not relevant on the global scale. This is something that I've noticed.

Yes, there are not relevant in the global scale because they got their wealth through corrupt means/system.
