Popular Nothern activist, Aisha Yesufu has slammed members of the Lagos State House of Assembly over their alleged indifferent attitude to the End SARS issues.

According to Yesufu, the Lagos assembly members are instead pledging allegiance to Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

She said that the lawmakers have remained mute even after the Lagos State Panel of Investigation recently published a report about the Lekki Toll Gate incident.


Recall that the panel had in its findings revealed that police and soldiers of the Nigerian Army intentionally killed and maimed unarmed youths protesting the extrajudicial killings by police operatives.

Aisha, who was at the forefront of the EndSARS protest in October 2020, tweeted, “The thing that hurt me more than the killings that occured at Lekki Toll Gate was how members of Lagos State House of Assembly threw #EndSars protesters under the bus and were practically swearing allegiance to Tinubu.

“The citizens didn’t matter nor protesters! All they cared about was Tinubu.”

I believe that if all these so called activist really think they are smart enough why don't pull a plug, stunt, jamesbond style in a OO7 tactics. Let them call it Terror but it will go a long way for morden structure.

The governor set up the panel not the people, he even allowed the panel to carry out their investigations without interfering with them.

He said they are putting the report through a sort of litmus test.

So give the Lagos state government chance to react to the report

The governor set up panel, gave them the ability to work without interference, and currently working on the report to satisfy the panel requirements. Let him do what he’s doing then you hold him accountable for the next action.

Every person on the list must get the required justice and compensation as recommended by the panel. I’m sure the governor understood what he’s doing for letting the panel succeed in their findings so he should do what is right.

Since the panel did not accuse Tinubu of anything, people like this woman are bitter and will always find a way to link him.

The whole report is out there or it would seem, not a section indicted the ex governor, so why should he be mentioned. States like Oyo where a Policeman was killed and eaten or the first endsars casualty was recorded, till date has no panel report, the azukwu Sars unit that was notorious has not report. It's like we celebrate selective justice in this country and till we amend that, we would just be scratching the surface.
