The military are no better off. Abacha's loot is still being repatriated from all around the world till date even though he died about 26 years ago.

I am not sure getting sanctioned is a good idea, coupled with the looting Karki boys, and the gross human right abuses that comes with it.

I still don't buy that Abacha loot story. If truly Abacha looted, walahi it will be hard to trace it. For the wife then to boast that they still had money more than Dangote, is enough to tell you that the money claimed as loot is not stolen money. When countries are under sanctions they look for ways to move funds and store them to prevent the accounts being frozen so that they can be liquid. Gaddafi did it, Saddam did it, Fidel Castro did and so many others. If truly the US is tracking and returning loots, why is it hard for them to return the loots of other politicians in Nigeria whom I know have stolen far more than Abacha.

Good one.

Watch as AU and ECOWAS rush to condemn the action. They sit down and watch corruption, nepotism and election rigging take over Africa and they do nothing, but once the people react they start to talk .

The west also watch as Africa leaders plunder the resources of Africa and they do nothing, but will be quick to react once the people want to take their destiny in their hands.

Mr Biden, the gay right activist is only concern about Africa only when is has to do with deviant's,I mean the LGBTQ people.
He comes up with his usual,I will stop aid's and bla bla bla once his project LGBTQ is threaten in Africa. But you will never see him talk about election rigging and corruption in Africa.

Africa will continue to experience such actions until they start doing the right thing.

All France colonial heritage and assets being gradually dismantled by each country's military power.

This is very good, as France has been too oppressive over those nations, and too greedy and selfish in acquiring and marshaling these colonial nations resources for their own national prosperity.

It is time African countries should use and transform their individual natural resources to build and prosper their nations, instead of being sold cheaply to prosper the whitemen's countries.

And you think. Military won't be more corrupt? Sit down there dey play. You've forgotten that its the Military that destroyed Nigeria to this extent..I don't want to call names here.

If civilians were not power drunk military will have no business in politics. Nigerian politicians do not learn, the same rascality in the 60s caused the coups, the same rascality in the 80s caused the coup. Now the rascality has gone promax it is ticking time bomb. I bet if a coup happens in Nigeria people will be glad, because the looting is making the politicians of the 60s and the 80s look like amateurs.

The problem with the army many times in Africa is that most of them turn out to have inordinate ambition and reckless rule.

Mobutu and Idi amin come to mind.
I know. But there were some too, who ceased power and still restored democracy. What happened in the past can't repeat itself again. People will revolt against them, should they hold power for long without restoring democratic rule.

Don't also forget that things are changing now. I don't like it when the military interrupts a democratic rule in any nation but, if that will check all these mad people in power, while they restore democracy after undoing their madness, I welcome it. No officer in the NA , from senate president to the least man who doesn't have one fraud case or the other...and you expect Nigeria to be rid of corruption? We're only deceiving ourselves

Military rule literally set back a lot of African nations when compared to their Asian counterparts that got independence around the same time.

Do you know that south Korea is what it is because of Military rule. The last Military ruler was the person that set the tone for what south Korea is now. So bro research your history very well before talking.
At the time of Nigeria's independence South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam were no where near Nigeria

Which tribe is that? I'm sure you're referring to the Northerners because they're the ones whose leaders have been shouting against invading Niger.
