What is really happening?

No be play something again o

What is happening is inevitable. Generally, democracy in Africa is a SCAM!

Elections are shambolic. The judiciary and legislature are not truly independent in reality, and the executive arm of government in most African countries have a free reign to do as they please.... That is why corruption and poverty are endemic in Africa.

Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Niger, and now Gabon. The era of military coups is back... And this is purely as a result of the failure to establish true democracy.

Gradually, it will spread. The handwriting is on the wall. The next bus stop will most likely be Cameroon where Paul Biya has been in power since 1984, and is getting ready to hand over power to his son.

Can you just imagine that...

I thought invading Niger was ECOWAS decision? So are u now acknowledging that it is Tinubu and not ECOWAS that is interested in invading Niger?

How will the invasion of Niger prevented a coup in Gabon?
Re: Military seizes power in Gabon by Nobody: 7:54am On Aug 30, 2023
Make Tinubu still dey dull hinself. Let him wait till they overthrow him. Instead of him to move fast and take over all the West African nations under the military.

May we never experience the military again.

Plenty mumu comments here, they are quick to curse Tinubu for their personal problems but not knowing that Gabon is central Africa and got nothing to do with Ecowas.

Revolution in French speaking countries was looooong overdue, this is no mistake, it is those countries saying enough. The French keep taking, openly and being the doors, they keep installing their puppet and make them stay in power forever while keeping poverty in their country. Togo and many other countries will join soon.

Only Ivory Coast and Benin seem to have a relatively stable democracy that might not go these route.

The Nigeria Judiciary should do the right thing or Nigeria is next Simple. Africa can't continue living in denial. At the turn of the millennium we all thought that Africa is gradually turning a new leaf, building leaderships that are true representatives of the people, No before you know it gang of Criminals wearing civilian clothes are seizing power from the people everywhere. The Military has no choice but to still join the power Grab. Africa is gradually going back to 60's and 70's and 80's when it was power grab galore. We are irredeemable here.

His father ruled Gabon for almost 40years before he died now his son want to continue his legacy of lifetime President oh well.. He sure do has a mentor in Putin.
but he said the truth na?

What is democracy without first having a true and fair elections that reflects the will of the people?

Answer me!!!

If democracy is not working let's try another system of Government.

Nigerians are only waiting for the outcome of the tribunal. The myopic supporters of our corrupt polticians would know that Nigeria belongs to the youths and sane adults...and not a section of a region simply because Obi, a presidential candidate who was voted across the nation so massively as haters have always ignorantly claim.

Someone shared 25k USD to delegates just because he wanted to win primaries and fulfill his life time ambition, even against the wish of the party, got to power by hook and crook and they think people would just fold their arms and watch after running them of their votes? Anyone who thinks nothing can happen in Nigeria is a joker. Nobody anticipated the 2020 endsars. Hiw Nigerians forget things in a hurry!!!

Sacking all the senior military officers won't save tinubu.

Sharap.even if he did not share dollars,he would still win? Which party choice? So you prefer Ahmed lawan to tinubu.tinubu will be there 8 years

Please remove Benin from the list, they have been enjoying stable government, same as Ivory Coast.

But Togo and Cameroon are definitely next in line. The French colonies revolution just started. They all have to collectively stop paying the colonization tax nonsense, and forge their own currencies. They need their independence NOW! It’s loooong overdue.

I can see bitterness in your comment probably because you are benefiting somehow from the government. The tribe you despise meant well for you Sir. All they want is good governance from a clean hands. Follow their anticident of support in political period you will know they meant well for you.
Keep supporting political class to remain in office forever. You have ruled for the first and second time and it's not enough for you to say let another person try even though the people are complaining of election rigging you still went ahead to rig for a third term because the country was made for you. Tell Tinubu to invade Niger naa. I know your fear, that it may reach your oga turn. Don't worry just tell him to lead well that's if the court won't ouster him

Hehehe.

Good one.

Watch as AU and ECOWAS rush to condemn the action. They sit down and watch corruption, nepotism and election rigging take over Africa and they do nothing, but once the people react they start to talk .

The west also watch as Africa leaders plunder the resources of Africa and they do nothing, but will be quick to react once the people want to take their destiny in their hands.

Mr Biden, the gay right activist is only concern about Africa only when is has to do with deviant's,I mean the LGBTQ people.
He comes up with his usual,I will stop aid's and bla bla bla once his project LGBTQ is threaten in Africa. But you will never see him talk about election rigging and corruption in Africa.

Africa will continue to experience such actions until they start doing the right thing.
the west has been the problem of Africa. They succeed when the leaders are corrupt and when their are insecurity.
