The Leicester City game is over and I'm still trying to understand how Enzo Maresca turned Wilfred Ndidi into an attacking monster? I will never doubt Maresca after seeing the player he transformed Ndidi in to.

Frm a leicester fan
What do you think is the right decision for him? Stay with Maresca and continue developing or move to another club where Dem go turn am to ABF midfielder. How I wish he had had the chance to work with his current coach earlier.

With ndidi’s recent performance in the box/box position I think if it will be ideal to start the trio of onyedika as dm,ndidi as cm/b2b and iwobi as AM

Won’t be bad if tried against São Tomé
Lol... Our coaches are too tactically inept to put the right team.on the pitch. Na to just put 11 players on the pitch and tell them to be running around.

Peter “the fly cat” Fregene was ex national team keeper who kept for eagles in the late 60s,and was in goal during 1968 Olympic Games.

He lost his position to Emma Okala in the 70s and with emergent of Best Ogedegbe and Moses Effiong he find it difficult to make it again until he was recalled for Afcon Libya 82.

Peter Fregene was a popular figure in Lagos cuz he kept for ECN and stationery stores. He inspired the likes of Best Ogedegbe,Peter Rufai and others

Yes Peter Fregene shared the same limelight with my then university coach and ex super eagles goalkeeper trainer Amusa Adisa the man that gave Vincent Enyeama,Austin Ejide ,Dele Aiyenigba,Seyi Olofinjana the needed breakthrough in eagles and ex polish international Emma Olisadebe.

I was able to gather more info about Nigeria players in the 60s and 70s through Amusa Adisa and ex eagles Moses Otolorin a football father figure in the neighborhood.

I read the article and I'm not even surprised at events unfolding with Nigerian football...so this aboki NFF president and his criminal cronies are opposed to a coach who is paid to select players that meet his tactical criteria just because they want to force some rubbish home based player quota on him? have these morons developed our football league back home to even produce half decent players worthy of senior national football? see how poorly Nigerian clubs are performing in the CAF champions league...where are the good players in our NPFL?

This explains why players like Gift Orban and Boniface etc have always been phased out of national team selection despite their superb forms because some rubbish players probably bribed this NFF criminals to always get ummerited call up's (like Musa). It's clear this is beyond Peseiro, and I hope he just gets his money for everything he's owed and walks away for his own sanity. This was the same thing they did with Rohr, the man was getting it right with player selections and was actually calling up interesting players with prospects...until NFF forced their hand on him and ruined what could have been a wonderful rebuilding project.

Nigeria is truly a irredeemable case. Tufiakwa

Bruce Grobbelaar Liverpool legend

Napoleon55:

El hadary,
Very successful, but he did not play in Europe.
The other guy from Zimbabwe, just like Weah, very successful in Europe but not with national team.
If I must choose anyone over Enyeama,it has to come from Cameroon, Cameroon rules in goalkeeping department in Africa.

Well, Nigeria needs to have a coach like Maresca
He is decent, hardworking, young, tactically sound and ambitious.
There are coaches like this all over the place.
We will find if we look hard enough.
At least, such a coach will not be expensive and will want to make a name with an
African football giant.

You call Prospect Africa monopolistic? Who dash beggar (NPFL) choice.

Nigerians need to be realistic. This is the 7th year without concrete TV partnership but suddenly we feel since these ones have come, others will rush in. Nibo?

We are a long way from having an attractive league that sponsors will fall over themselves for. Abi is it not yesterday that they did NPFL draws and it looked a public school's PTA meeting.

Every investment in the NPFL right now is a favor in good faith and we should be content.

As for the African Football League. Africa once again succumbs to be a testing ground for what UEFA wants.
CAFCL has not fulfilled it's potentials but we want to chase the wind with an 8 team tournament.

It's crazy how radioactive Dennis has become that he isn't at the top of the list of middle table English club. It's even more crazy when you consider that he's available for 8Mnajd NFFC is willing to take a loss to see him go.

For a player who had 10 goals and 6 assist with a relegation team in his first season in the EPL, he has his bad attitude to thank for his soon to become exist from the EPL.
