Odunayaw:Monopolistic in the sense that they just come to outrightly take over from clubs that have perfect streaming services. That's not fair. First, if anything happens, clubs are back to square 1. We both know these things are not always permanent. Club having their own platforms is a good way to groom development in media. But now one sort of laziness will creep in now. The rule does not make sense one bit. At least from this aspect I'm talking from. They look serious, but it doesn't benefit the individual clubs that way to me As for AFL, i hate all these kowtow to UEFA that Caf has been up to lately. Esp regarding finances. It's just hilarious and same time, provoking. |

NwaIdeato:I've always said that Rohr doesn't look like he's in charge of call ups for matches. Many said it's untrue. The vibes are there too. Plus one goof with nff handle one time proved it. Plus this more recent gbasgbos with waldrum. They're even saying he should get pay cut when they still feed fat on big salaries.. treating the national teams like some low budget npfl club. |

daveP:No na. It doesn't work like that. The league owns the streaming right of games all over the world. It's how leagues like the EPL can sell TV rights and pay clubs a part of it. Since the partnership with DSTV stopped, the league hasn't gotten a broadcasting partner for the league, so clubs had to resort to streaming the games on their own. It was the ideal, but it met the need at the time. Now the league is looking at rebranding itself, and have gotten a new broadcast partner (who I believe should he paying for the broadcast rights). It only follows that clubs can no longer stream as a new body is contractually obligated to do so. It's a good development really and should be encouraged. Let's up things get better from here. |

Odunayaw:FIFA simple. Football associations around the world are corrupt because of FIFA. FIFA and her member association is designed to self cleanse itself without recourse to external influence. The protection members know they enjoy is what sustains the impunity. Sadly, a corrupt system can't cleanse itself. We've had numerous FIFA president self perpetuate themselves in office Nd were only removed because of Corruption. That was only possible because of the society they were in. For Nigeria however and Africa by extension, the sport will continue to suffer because the country itself is deep in corruption. The closest we've had to a change was when Goodluck Jonathan withdrew Nigeria from all international competition in a bid to clean house. FIFA sent a letter immediately threatening with a ban. The decision was reversed in 2 weeks. |

Marjoribanks:Negotiating for €18m on a player on the last year of his contract that clearly wants to leave isn't the smartest move by Leicester...they should take what CP are offering and move on. |

Odunayaw:A sound coach who wouldn't have any problem working for free though team expenses will be taken care of by the NFF. With recent news and rumours, NFF dey share salary as well as having a stake in team selection. So if there is someone who can offer like 60% of his salary in exchange for total control of the callups. It sounds crazy but that's the only way I can think of. let's not even start with the NIN payment of allowance. |

Chiemela Benjamin Fredrick to Brentford? I'm skeptical about this move because I don't want him being sent out on loan or warming the bench. He is too good for that. |

Actually I think it's good news an EPL club will be a great platform to improve his game. Even if he won't break into their first team now the loan option would at least guarantee him some playing time. ChrisKels: |
