Laptop for final year exams?

So nobody else has laptop in my school? I have to lick the nyash of a cheating girlfriend because of laptop? This is laughable

No, it's not. I wish I can find that tweet again and you read it exactly as the guy described. It was more "between the devil and the deep blue sea" than I have painted it here.

And as for the other one, i am the one paying the loan. She was just the guarantor. So even if she dies the next day, i will still be paying my loan.

Abi no be guarantor you call am?

Maybe, or perhaps I used a bad example. What I am referring to is like situation where she has to stand for you to get some financial benefit, that you may not even be able to repay in a short-term or monthly basis.

But anyway, do you.

People have rode out unpleasant (co-)dependency situations, and will continue todo so or pipe low until they are able cut themselves off without any consequences. It's just the sensible thing to do.

You go and be calling people out when you're in situations like that sha. 👍

You have been quoting me since, but you are looking for Melvyn inside.

Check your self esteem, ma.

You need me to drag another person for you to accept that your opinion has no experience inside?

In five lines of simple words, tell me what my being married or not has to do with my opinions and their validity.

Are you married? If you are not married, what exactly qualifies you to speak on this matter or any couple matters at all that you've ever spoken on in the past?

I am not telling you to drag anyone, eish. Is the comprehension not comprehending? When Melvyn disagreed with you, did you tell him* to go and get married as well, so that he can see whatever? If you have, show me.

It just seems very f******** to go through with relocation hassle only for him to be deported after barely settling down.

I don't know where some people got the false historical knowledge that atheism started in modern times or evolved from modern culture when the root word of 'atheism' itself ', átheos', is from the early ancient Greek language, which means 'godless'.

Does that look like a modern language to you?

Some ignorant people here, who can't tell their left from their right, would be associating the origin of atheism or agnosticism with the English culture.

Anyone familiar with the history of philosophy, especially Western or classical philosophy, would know a number of pre-Socratic skeptics who were atheists; Anaxagoras is a good example. Epicurus was an atheist that existed in Ancient Greece around the platonic era.

Philosophers have written a series of books on atheism in the ancient world, such as "Battling the Gods: Atheism in the Ancient World" by Tim Whitmarsh; "The History of Western Philosophy" by Bertrand Russell, and many others.

Some people will be saying nonsense with confidence. Lols.

I don't know where some people got the false historical knowledge that atheism started in modern times or evolved from modern culture when the root word of 'atheism' itself ', átheos', is from the early ancient Greek language, which means 'godless'.

Or rather say that atheism evolves out of (mordern) culture, or you find a few people who are atheists within them.

This is my comment, right here. And I want to believe you have that much sense to understand. I put "modern" in parenthesis to denote that what I said may not exactly be it, but, that, at least, atheism arose out of cultural beliefs. Religion is a part of that culture, until people because questioning it. Atheism literally exists because THERE IS theism, and in contrast to it. I also clearly mentioned that there are some people who are atheists within these cultures, but go off.

Unless you want to refer to the very basic, earliest period of human existence before religion was formed as a time when humans collectively were atheistic, in which case wouldn't be valid because there was no conceptualisation of atheism. This, unlike the practices of animism, magic, ritualistic dances and spells, rain worship, etc. Does religion not predate this "early ancient Greek era?" Was a time where atheism was collectively ideological lifestyle and belief of people in the past?

Does that look like a modern language to you?

Some people will be saying nonsense with confidence. Lols.

And these books were obviously written as enquiries and insights into atheistic clashes with the religions of the time. Religions rooted in the culture of the people.

And based on your submission above, if atheism isn't of English origins, is it now of African origins?

The post you quoted already addressed the history of atheism succinctly and answered your question. The origin of atheism is stated explicitly in that post and the previous posts, so 'atheism' and 'modern culture', whether your 'modern' is in parenthesis or not, shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Ibime:

PDP will miss the golden years of Saraki, Dino, Ben Bruce and Shehu Sani cheesy

With these numbers in the Senate and House, I'm expecting Wike to start filling in APC form soon in order to try and fulfill his Presidential ambition. Gubernatorial will also be a whitewash meaning PDP will have no more funds to operate. That will.put too.much financial strain on Rivers State and Wike and he will switch sides. He was already begging Buhari that he will give him Presidential if Buhari does not make Gubernatorial hard for him. Wike will try to join APC, mark my words.

APC will simply become the new PDP

I really do like roland17.
Just came across this again. How you know someone who indeed cares about his homeland.
Roland17:

I will admit that you are doing a great job at not only selling your candidate but more importantly, mobilizing people to get registered. To be honest, I am disappointed at how badly monetized the selection process has been in Nigeria thus far. P. Obi is relatable when you listen to him speak and he understands the process of simplifying administration/ Governance, however, does he have the reach on a National level? I love his courage and the resolve he is showing this time around, in comparison to the last time out. His decision to leave PDP for me showed a courage and a sense of self belief. Also, personally for me, the next president absolutely has to solve the despicable levels of insecurity and power generation in Nigeria for Nigeria to stand any chance improving its economic realities. For all we know and from experience, previous exposure to governance does not necessarily mean the candidate will do great things at the National level.

You guys supporting Obi should do more in speaking about his achievements in governance (public/ private) from like Obi did in the video you attached, especially from 13:00-25:00 than fighting other contestants. Let me also add that the last thing Obi needs right now is any kind of distraction or infighting within the Labor Party which is what seems to be going on with the factions in Labor Party.

I think the secret of Ibime’s accuracy is his nurtured intuition for following the money trail. Most of the time, follow the money and you can predict a lot of stuff. Holds true for politics, football transfer strategy, relationships etc
