Im guessing its for home use, get ps5 and save yourself from headache, then add series S if xbox is a must

I already have a PS4 and a Nintendo Switch OLED. This will be my first foray into the Xbox world. I would have gone for the series S but not having an optical drive is a deal breaker for me and that's because I don't want to be a slave to digital games subscriptions.

Exchange your p4 for s, buy p5, you will be stuck with good assets, buying xbox cds would be at full price, when you decide to trade in, they would be priced like you stole them, you are better off digital there, ps cds have more resale value
